Hello Malcolm Thanks, I do have Fing but it shows my host ip and my iPhone but all the others are called "generic", so I do not know wich is the Repeater or Echo dot or Sonos speakers. Also, it says 9 devices while currently I have only 5 connected, so I suppose it picked up devices which was connected previously. Hello Simon Thanks, I downloaded the software. By using the jaws cursor I could find the scan button and I could read the list. Do you know if there are some hot keys for scan and other functions? I'm not aware of any that can receive output from two devices at once. Are you saying the Plantronics Voyagers can do this, really? If they are logged in with the same Apple ID, and contacts are on in the iCloud settings, they would transfer automatically. Otherwise, you may need a third party app. I'm not sure. Hi, make sure you have the latest update for the iOs app. I noticed I needed to update it on my iPad. Once done, the type with Alexa feature seems to be the first item on the screen. Figuring out new things to do with Echo is sometimes hit and miss. Are you signed up for the Amazon emails that come every Friday? Googling is helpful. Hi No, I know I had to use a lot of jaws kersor or route jaws to pc kersor, But I'ts been about 6 months since I last used it, I know after scanning I had to go in to one of the other modes to see what was on the network. And just went through them one device / ip at a time. Wondering about wireless charging
Hi there, I have the new iPhone 12, and since I know the newer phones have wireless charging, I got a magnetic charger for it. The question is whether I need a special case for it. Otherwise, I have to take it out of my case whenever I want to put it on that particular charger. If so, what sort of case should I get? There are three ways to transfer data from one iPhone to another: iCloud, computer backup and an iPhone to iPhone transfer. Why not use iCloud? It is the easiest. I have had a subscription for a year. And I’ve been waiting for them to fix their accessibility problems, which they have not done. Certain things are accessible on certain platforms that I have access to at least. I’m wondering if anybody has CuriosityStream, and is there any platform that you use where you can absolutely access everything, rather than just seeing useless numbers or letters or whatever. iphone transferring to Homepod questions.
Hello, some general questions about transferring from iphone to either the Homepod or the mini. I have neither one, but am planning on getting the regular Homepod and possibly the mini for another room. I'm interested in the transfer feature, and would use this to basically play most of my audio. My question is if I hold the iphone up to the Homepod to transfer music or a podcast, Voiceover stays on the iphone unless I change the audio destination? Also, when the music or podcast ends, does the next piece of music or next podcast still stay on the Homepod, or does it return back to the iphone so that I need to hold the phone up to the Homepod again? How far away can I be with the iphone before it disconnects from the Homepod and comes back to the iphone itself? Does the connection drop after a while?
