I'm in search of a splitter cable for wired headphones

Hi to all.  I can use a set of wired earbuds, or wired headphones with
my iPhone.  However, is there some kind of connector cable that would
allow me to connect to my iPhone's lightning port but have 2 lightning
connectors so I could plug in my wired headphones, but also be able to
plug in my cord to also charge my iPhone at the same time.  I bought
such a connector, but I need to purchase another one, but don't know
exactly what they are called.  Thanks for any help.

All my information from all of my apps  that are backed up in iCloud, I can 
start something on my phone & finish on my iPad. Make sure that Hand Off is 
turned on, settings, general, hand off/airdrop.

Sonos is almost to easy to set up,

I have the original play bar,

I think the most difficult part of the setup was the figuring out where the 
speaker controls on the tv were and having to turn my phone up side down or 
microphone away from me, while I did the setup of the surround sound features.

More difficult due to my small living room.

Hello,
I know most people probably are not interested in my Sonos experience, but I 
want to give another public thank you to Sieghard for encouraging me to go wit 
the Sonos system, especially telling me about the Arc soundbar.

Our Sonos Arc Soundbar came in today.
Like everything else, it was easy to set up.
And, it was easy to adjust the TV settings to use it for its sound.

Simply put, it is fabulous!

It is easy to switch from having the TV sound or music, or podcasts, or 
whatever through the Sonos app.

Frankly, the base is quite good enough for us so we won’t need to add a 
subwoofer.

For those who are into detail, the Arc soundbar is 45 inches long.
It is probably 4 or 4.5 inches tall and deep, though I could look it up.
It has 11 drivers and the sound is great!

I have tested it with some music, but it has only been set up for about 2 hours.

We are very happy campers.

Sorry if my email did go through, but it did not act like it went. No, not 
talking about the email receipt but the list of orders within the Amazon app 
and probably other apps with that feature. What I understand from your answer 
is if you begin an order on the phone it should be completed on the phone and 
if on iPad it should be completed on iPad. This is really good information to 
know. Thank you, and again sorry if this is a duplicate.

Have you tried the idea of sending the current drafts to yourself and then 
deleting that once it arrives in your in box?

Yeah Richard,

Sonos is almost to easy to set up,

I have the original play bar,

I think the most difficult part of the setup was the figuring out where the 
speaker controls on the tv were and having to turn my phone up side down or 
microphone away from me, while I did the setup of the surround sound features.

More difficult due to my small living room.

Our Sonos Arc Soundbar came in today.
Like everything else, it was easy to set up.
And, it was easy to adjust the TV settings to use it for its sound.

Simply put, it is fabulous!

It is easy to switch from having the TV sound or music, or podcasts, or 
whatever through the Sonos app.

Frankly, the base is quite good enough for us so we won’t need to add a 
subwoofer.

For those who are into detail, the Arc soundbar is 45 inches long.
It is probably 4 or 4.5 inches tall and deep, though I could look it up.
It has 11 drivers and the sound is great!

I have tested it with some music, but it has only been set up for about 2 hours.

We are very happy campers.

The short answer is no.
Apple won't let third party apps use Siri voices yet.
When you use it with Kindle, you are using VoiceOver to read, not the Kindle 
app so far as the voice is concerned.
So, like many, many, of us, please write 
accessibil...@apple.com and request that they 
allow app developers to use Siri voices, especially book reading apps like 
voice Dream Reader.

I would imagine you could assign a different ring tone for the phone numbers 
from the contacts app.  I have done this for Doctor's phone calls but, I 
haven't had a call to test it with as of yet.

Hi Shirley,

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to delete the draft email. These 
steps will need to be followed each time that you need to delete a draft 
email
1. Open the email app.
2. Tap on compose to open a new blank email.
3. Tap on minimize draft. If you touch the bottom of the screen you should find 
2 drafts.
4. Tap on the drafts. A list of the 2 drafts will be displayed. Do NOT open 
either of the drafts.
5. Swipe down from the top of the screen until you come to Close Draft. Tap on 
this to close the draft.
6. Once again swipe down from the top of the screen until you come to Close 
Draft. Tap on this to close the draft.
Note: To make a draft of an email is saved to the Draft folder, to be completed 
later & sent- Tap on Cancel. You will be asked if you want to Delete or Save 
the email as a draft. Tap on Save. You will find a copy of the draft email that 
you saved at the bottom of the screen. Follow the steps above to get rid of the 
draft. Don’t worry, the draft will be in your draft email folder.

Raymond,  There is an ap that you can download to your phone called 
Talkatone.  This will let you have another number on your phone that you can 
set up as your business phone with a different ring tone.  The app is free, 
but you must use the number each month or it will be voided and you will be 
given another numbewr when you log in again.  I believe that you also can 
set up voice mail for your Talkatone number.  Give it a try.  HTH

No it won't have a second tone, or an individual town, I did talk to an Apple 
representative about this a while back, and it will show up as line one or line 
2 I think. But for what he's winning, he would be better off using something 
such as Google voice or if he wants it paid for option magic jack as it has its 
own standardize ringtone.

Then each of those numbers should be able to have an individual ring tone 
against it.

I think the best bet here really is for  Raymond to contact either apple 
accessibility or his mobile provider directly and discuss with them what it is 
he requires.

I did have a mobile account a few years back where I had a mobile number and a 
landline number geographically diverted to the one mobile so that anyone 
ringing me at work got me where I was,

That was a feature of the plan I was on.

Does Anyone Know If Apple Is Working on Deleting Drafts?

I have a draft email  and can't delete it no matter what I try to do and I
know others have mentioned they have this same problem.  Is apple to
anyone's knowledge, doing anything about this?

The easiest thing to do is to call Apple Accessibility and ask them how this is 
done.
I presume Raymond is going to have an eSim number plus his usual iphone number.
I do not have that set up so I'm not sure if you can assign a different 
ringtone to that other number under notifications, but as Mike said, if the 
person goes into your contacts, you can set the contact up with a different 
ringtone.
But, for these kinds of questions, I'd call Apple, 877-204-3930

your phone but, here's an idea that might work.  Let's say you have your 
massage phone number as a home or office number, well if you were to forward 
the calls from this home or office number to your iPhone and with this number 
in your contacts app it could then be assigned a different ring tone.  But, 
remember that whenever you are at home or the office you'll need to unforward 
the calls so you'll receive the calls at this default phone / number.

Mike, I use this option on a daily basis for my home phone. And if he is away 
from the location, the number will pop up as the person's phone number. So once 
again this requires creating contacts and saving them into the phone. The 
Google voice option that I presented, will solve his problem. Which is to make 
the work number a contact and assigned it a ringtone, and then he can go into 
Google voice, and make it so whenever people call him he doesn't see their 
number he sees his phone number that he's entered into his contacts which will 
also have that special ringtone. This is what I do to keep my emergency calls 
and my business calls separate

Hi Mike, this is only possible if he has them saved in his contacts. With the 
method I mentioned above, he could also do that. And that way when those 
specific people ended up calling him, he would hear that special ringtone.

Hi Raymond, Google voice will do what you wanted to do. However, you won't be 
able to have a different ringtone. But how I have mine set up, if somebody 
calls in, it shows up with the caller ID of my work number whenever it rings my 
mobile phone. Which I find very helpful.

Separate/secondary phone number that can ring differently than original phone number

Have a question.  I am newly licensed as a Massage therapist and will be for
the seeable future using my mobile as my way of being contacted.  I want a
separate number for clients but I want it to ring differently when people
call it.  Can this be done?

I’ve only just started using Supersense, so had not noticed the lack of extra 
info.
IN Seeing AI, there is a More Info button in the upper right if more details 
are available.
In the case of Lean Cuisine  frozen meals, the cooking direction is included in 
that more info.

The differents between seeing a i and supersense is that seeing a i gives

IN Seeing AI, there is a More Info button in the upper right if more details 
are available.

Just start flicking right with one finger and you should have the list.
I just tried it by putting the letter d in the to field, heard the announcement 
and flicked right and got the first suggestion and by continuing to flick right 
it jumped from one to the next with no issues.

My company has just migrated to outlook exchange for our email so I installed

there are x matches from my contacts.  My question is where do I find the list 
of suggested contacts so I can simply pick the one I want?

I have used explore-by-touch to look everywhere on the screen but don't see the 
suggestions.

Hi,

If that information is available, yes. You double tap on the result once 
your bar code has been identified and all the info about that product 
will show up. Most of the time,  you do get cooking directions.

NOT everything syncs across devices. Especially non-Apple purchases. 
Or are you talking about the email receipt? 
A bit more detail would help. 
I'm pretty sure the vaccine issue is that the iPhone has the necessary hardware 
for this new process. It is not available where I live yet, so that is just a 
guess.

Need a lesson on syncing please and thanks

Hi, I am asking for a friend, but I am interested in the answer also. She 
bought something on Amazon on the iPad, and it never showed up in' her iPhone. 
Nothing is syncing. When both devices are plugged in and the screens are locked 
the two should  sync, correct? Thanks in advance for the class on syncing. Oh, 
she also tried to sign up  for our vaccine site on the iPad, and after putting 
in part of her information to get her account the iPad suddenly flashed a 
message saying she needed to use her iPhone to sign up. Why? They are both IOS 
devices. Thanks.

Hi all, this recently happened to me as well. It went away as a problem after a 
hard reset. I don’t know if this is relevant but it appeared after I logged 
into icloud.com as I was curious what was in there.
