Re: Apple Music and my own music library troubles

2022-05-10 Thread 'Harry Bell' via VIPhone
I’m sure, oike richard, that it used to be possible to show my music rather
than just Apple Music. I have iTunes Match as well as an Apple Music
subscription. But I’ve just checked on iPhone and iPad and I cannot find any
way to change what is displayed other than turning off using Apple Music in
settings! Do ring Apple Accessibility and let us all know.

RE: Aira and Be my eyes

2022-05-10 Thread kevinwassmer
Believe it or not, I have used both AIRA and By my Eyes to assist me in find
locations. For example, I have a new job coming up on Friday. I have used Be my
Eyes to help me find the location of my job. I told the volunteer the address I
was looking for and the street corner I was at. She looked through my camera
and used Google maps to find out where I was trying to get to. If the volunteer
is really good at navigation, By my Eyes can work great for orientation. But
with AIRA, you are guaranteed to have someone with a dash board and more
sophisticated navigation software to help a person get around. But both AIRA
and By my Eyes can work good for orientation and navigation.

The point is that I get a better connection with BE MY EYES and I am sharing
minutes with someone for Aira. The fact that I get a clear call now and again
when using Aira seems to suggest the problem is at Aira's end. I need to call
their technical support to see what they can figure out about that. In years
past I didn't have that trouble. I ordered my SE second generation with someone
in Mexico through Aira and thatwasover 2 years ago.Nothng has changed with my

I also thoroughly enjoy the kind of person who volunteers for BME. They are
always personable, and you can feel the world that surrounds them - you might

I've used Ira when I want to take a picture. I've used Be My Eyes when
I've needed to find out something like my kid who is in preschool checked out a
Paw Patrol book that needed to go back to the library and he has other Paw
Patrol books that aren't library books, so I used By My Eyes to verify that the
book he was handing me was indeed a library book. It was.

RE: Aira and Be my eyes

2022-05-10 Thread deidreandlouise
Brandon
The point is that I get a better connection with BE MY EYES and I am sharing
minutes with someone for Aira. The fact that I get a clear call now and again
when using Aira seems to suggest the problem is at Aira's end. I need to call
their technical support to see what they can figure out about that. In years
past I didn't have that trouble. I ordered my SE second generation with someone
in Mexico through Aira and thatwasover 2 years ago.Nothng has changed with my
internet set up since that time.
I also thoroughly enjoy the kind of person who volunteers for BME. They are
always personable, and you can feel the world that surrounds them - you might
hear a child in the background, find out someone is in the service and
stationed overseas, or picking up in the UK or other parts of the world. I love
it.

That's odd, I've rarely had a bad connection with Aira. I don't get the point
of Be My Eyes when I pay for an Aira subscription.

Aira and Be my eyes

2022-05-10 Thread deidreandlouise
I love BE MY Eyes volunteers. They might be anywhere in the world and have
helped me do all kinds of jobs. For ordering things on-line through Aira's
help, that has been great. For screen shotting things by an Aira
representative, that has been fabulous too. Problem with Aira is that 4 out of
every 5 connections is bad with blurry screens, lapses in sound, all kinds of
technical glitches which makes it easier to call Be My Eyes volunteers for
simplerjobs. I can't remember ever having a bad connection with BE MY EYES
volunteers, and that might well be a fluke, I can't say.
