Podcast for ERGdata?

2023-05-09 Thread Traci Duncan
Hi all, I fell down a rabbit hole today with Concept 2 and ergData. Are there
any podcasts out there demonstrating this setup with Voiceover?

Thank you,
Traci

Re: voice changed over night

2023-05-09 Thread The Evil Chocolate Cookie
I’m running the 16.5 beta, and the Siri voices are still working here.
Sometimes voiceover glitches out and voices go poof. Try to restart your phone
and restart voice over.

Hi folks

The subject says it all but I want to stress that the bug was not solved by a
ios ap update of facebook. Facebook has made some under the hood improvements
without updating and that is happening more and more and more with all kinds of
apps.
I fear this is not a good sign for us depending on accessibility at all.
I guess within some years, app updates will nolonger be issued as the UI of
apps will be changed automatically.

I have almost decided to go for iPhone 14 pro varrient, however one of my
friends advised me to go for pro max version because of its zoom in camera. My
concern is that which of these two varrients is most suitable for a person who
some times use magnification function to look at screen along with voice over.
Is there any special feature in Pro max varrient which is missing in pro
version? and what is that zoom in function which my friend was refering to?
What about an idea to go for base version only?
My uses are, taking phone calls, handling banking and social media apps,
watching youtube and insta.

iMazing question:

2023-05-09 Thread Donald Breda
If anyone is using iMazing for windows with an iPhone, I am considering
buying it and wondered if it is possible to back up specific apps on the
iPhone so that if newer versions become inaccessible I can upload the
older version to the phone.

I realize that eventually changes in the operating system may make an
old version stop working but its one way to buy some time if you really
need the app.

Thanks in advance.

Re: voice changed over night

2023-05-09 Thread Gordon
Things can get crazy the week leading up to a new version of IOS for
some reason. I've experienced this a lot over the past few years. Some
times voices change, other times it affects dictation or the way VO
pronounces certain words. So just something you'll have to get used to I
guess.

Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a fix for this?  Can I get the
Siri voices back?

Thanks for any help.

Re: voice changed over night

2023-05-09 Thread Dan

Ok, never mind.  I just went in to pick
another voice because the one I had it set to was driving me
crazy.  I had looked through the list of voices 3 times before
and Siri was not there. I was moving through the list again to
find a better voice and Siri was there now.  I got it back to
the voice I prefer.

Thanks.
