carry for travel as well.

Hi Mich, yes, it is OK to remove the iPhone 8 from your Apple account, but make 
sure you turn off find my iPhone, and reset all settings that shall make it

I do not have enough information to tell you what to do until I know what 
VoiceOver is doing when you try to sign in. What does it tell you? My thought 
is that you have a keyboard on and if that is the case, you will have to use it 
to sign in, because the onscreen keyboard won't pop up. Please give us a little 
more context?

I don’t know if if this is a bug, I recently upgreated to IOS 17 and I am 
noticed that everytime I install a new app and try to sign in with my accout 
with the Voiceov er on, it won’t let me do it. So, I have to ask a sighted 
person to do it for me because I have to turn off Voiceover.

I really need your suggestions of how I might solve this problem please.

Yes, I had the same problem when I upgraded my phone. I actually deleted the app and reinstalled it. I had turned on notifications in the notification center made sure focus was turned off made sure that the app settings were all on notification and it still didn't work. ^^The only glitch I had when I had my display paired, is that for some reason, 
the phone wouldn't recognize any other Bluetooth accessory. I am running the 
beta of 17.2 and it may have been fixed. Other than that, it should work.

A Question for Focus 40 Blue 5th Generation Braille Display Users

Hello All,

I tried searching the archives but cannot seem to locate any recent threads
on the following question:

A couple of days ago I purchased a new Focus 40 Blue 5th Gen braille Display
from Freedom Scientific.  What a marvelous device.  It works like a champ on
both the latest version of Windows (with the latest release of Fusion) as
well as my beloved Windows 7 PC which is running Jaws v15 (The Win7 PC is
not connected to the Internet).

I seem to recall that some iOS and/or Mac OS users reported that there was
some kind of unexpected glitch with the 5th gen braille displays when
connecting to iOS and / or Mac OS but I cannot remember what the glitch was
and in which OS it occurred and if the glitch had been resolved in a
subsequent version of the OS.

I am going to setup the display with my beloved 14 running the latest
version of iOS 16 but wanted to check here, first, to see if there are any
issues of which I should be aware, be fore I start the process.

Hello Anthony,I do not have enough information to tell you what to do until I know what VoiceOver is doing when you try to sign in. What does it tell you? My thought is that you have a keyboard on and if that is the case, you will have to use it to sign in, because the onscreen keyboard won't pop up. I have not had this issue.  When you indicate that you have to have a sighted person assist in signing into an account for you, which accounts do they need to sign into? Have you attempted to rrestart your phone or restart VoiceOver since the update?

I don’t know if if this is a bug, I recently upgreated to IOS 17 and I am noticed that everytime I install a new app and try to sign in with my accout with the Voiceov er on, it won’t
 let me do it. So, I have to ask a sighted person to do it for me because I have to turn off Voiceover.
I really need your suggestions of how I might solve this problem please.
