Hi,

Oh nooo is this issue back? A while back this was a very huge problem in the
shopping cart and made managing one’s cart very difficult.

I’m very sorry. You might want to call and tell them and make them aware or
post at them on x formerly known as Twitter. When I called today, I did make
them aware of the issue with the heart pertaining to favorited shoppers and did
express how nice it’d be to be able to report problems from within the app
directly to that team.

I’m sorry you are dealing with this issue once again.

Take good care,

Robin

if swiping doesn't work, you can double tap on the item and remove or change
the quantity in your cart from within the item listing itself.

Try removing the item from the cart before checking out. VoiceOver should read

If this was a work computer, you might be just better off wiping it and
starting over, unless you have something important you need to get at. If you
don’t have the recovery key saved anywhere, I’m not sure if Apple can help you.
It’s usually on the user to save that key. I know it was a work system, but for
the future, always choose the option to be able to recover your password with
your Apple ID in case you forget the system password entirely.

If you know your administrative account name, you can select that you forgot
the password for the account. You don’t have to select that you forgot all of

I am not sure about removing an item, but I did edit a quantity today in an
Instacart order I just made on the phone.

I was in my buy it’s again list and swiped on the item in question and changed
an item quantity.

Try removing the item from the cart before checking out. VoiceOver should read
the list of items in your cart. See if there is a remove open there, or
possibly delete; I haven’t done it so I don’t know for sure.

Re: locked out of my macbook pro

2024-01-07 Thread Donald Raikes
Thanks for the replies. I have a macbook pro with the silicon chip,
and so I pressed the power button for about 10 seconds to turn it off.
as I continue to hold down the power button, I hear a chord sound.

I am not certain when exactly the macbook is off or when to know that
the options window has opened. So in short I am struggling to figure
out how to get into recovery mode.

Re: editing an open Instacart order

2024-01-07 Thread Robin Frost

Hi,

I echo that which the other posters suggested regarding this issue. I
just wanted to add along with their thoughts that sometimes the cart is
very very slow to update and I've found the best way to be sure that an
item has truly been deleted if it seems to still be persisting in
appearance is to back out of your cart and come back into it other wise
you can think you're still deleting the errant item but end up deleting
something you didn't wish to delete. I have done it more times than I
can count I assure you.

So perhaps that will help. I wish they had a more direct way to
communicate accessibility issues to their app developers. I also wish
once a shopper was favorited those using Voiceover could access the
"heart which signifies this favorited status in case one wishes to
change it. It'd also be nice when scheduling with favorite shoppers if
we could select them by name and I've attempted to communicate this and
other accessibility concerns to them whenever they arise.

I am sorry for the inconveniences this app sometimes presents.

Take good care,

Robin

if swiping doesn't work, you can double tap on the item and remove or
change the quantity in your cart from within the item listing itself.

Try removing the item from the cart before checking out. VoiceOver
should read the list of items in your cart. See if there is a remove
open there, or possibly delete; I haven’t done it so I don’t know for
sure.

Hi Max,

Unfortunately, I think hearing aids have something to do with it. I also
have hearing aids connected to my phone. This afternoon, the phone wasn't
playing through the aids for some reason, and music recognition worked. I
reconnected the aids, and music recognition still worked. However, it
didn't a work an hour later with the hearing aids still connected. I
turned them off, and it worked. It also worked a few minutes after I
turned them back on. I waited a few more minutes and tried again, and it
didn't work. So it seems that if the aids are connected for more than a
few minutes, music recognition stops working.

Best,
Anna

Hi folks,

pretty reliably. When I asked Siri why it can't do that, it gives me the
usual BS answer about it finding something on the web but won't give me
a direct answer, which is another pet peeve. Don't tell me that you
found something on the web, just give me the effin' answer, dammit! I
get so aggravated with Siri's apparent stupidity and annoying behavior.
So what's the deal with Siri's inability to recognize music that's being
played and picked up with the phone's microphone? Anybody notice this?
If so, what did you do about it? Thanks,

Tom

Keurig App

2024-01-07 Thread Edward Przybylek
Hi all,

A couple of days ago, we purchased a Keurig Supreme Plus coffee maker.
We've not had much success getting the Keurig app to work. Many of the
displayed buttons don't activate when pressed and often the entire page is
not shown so it's difficult to find buttons that should be on the screen.
We can For example, we can find the allow button but not the don't allow
button. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you guys might have.
Thank you. Stay well.

Take care,

Ed Przybylek

2024-01-07 Thread John Panarese
The recovery HD is completely accessible to VoiceOver. Once you press and
hold command-r for about thirty seconds, wait a bit longer and start VoiceOver
with Command-F5.

This is a very comprehensive Apple Support article, but, hopefully, it can
be followed. There are instructions for both Apple Silicon Macs and Intel.
