Re: ringback tones on verizon
Steve, Thanks for the reply, When I go in to myverizon app i cant find a way to manage ringback tones or bye them! am I totally laim or what? grin Verizon needs to fix this like asap! Amber - Original Message - From: "Steve" To: "VIPhone" Sent: Friday, April 13, 2012 9:21 AM Subject: Re: ringback tones on verizon Hi Amber, I haven't seen much of a response on this. I can't get the Verizon ringback tones to work using Internet Explorer or Firefox. There is a MyVerizon app that you can install on the iPhone. With that app, you can at least go through a selection of Ringback tones. However, I'm not confident that everything is there, I used to have the MSU Spartan Fight Song as a ringback tone. When it expired after a year, I couldn't find it on the MyVerizon list, although I didn't figure out a good way to be able to search the list, so I basically browsed through a lot of different college fightsongs by category. The closest thing I could find was the stupid University of Michigan fight song. Now that you brought this issue back to my mind, I'll have my son look at the ringback tones and see if the app is showing everything or not. I also have tried to use safarie on my phone with no luck. I would love any help you all can give! Also can you pick your own ringback tones that you make with verizon. I believe att lets you. Re: jawbone bluetooth
I am behind in tis thred, can you tell me what software your useing? I have the jawbone and would love to adjust it. - Original Message - From: "Veronica Elsea" To: Sent: Monday, April 16, 2012 2:36 PM Subject: Re: jawbone bluetooth I also have the Jawbone era blue tooth headset, which I like very much. However, I did have to do some work to get it set up the way I like it. And that process was not accessible. Here are the things I changed. 1. The way it comes, you can shake the headset to answer a call or to hang up. Sounds nice. I did find that if left in this state, it was really easy to hang up on someone when I was trying to adjust the thing in my ear. I didn't need the jiro features, so I disabled them. 2. Using with Siri: It comes with something whose name I've now forgotten, but it's something talk mode. In the settings, you load the work with Siri app and the first one goes away. 3. For mine, there were updates available when I got it and these had to be installed. Here's what I did. Ummm, ahem, boy those sighted spouses are handy! I was installing the software and updates on a Windows 7 computer with Window-eyes. But once I did that, I'll probably never go in there again. And the sound is nice. People on the other end of my calls say it sounds way better than the Motorola headsets I'd tried previously. Hope this is helpful.
