To my knowledge this is not possible.

I just want to see if anyone else having this problem. When I said Sharon to
read at 340 or more words per minutes she stops reading after one
sentence. If I set her free at 320 a minute or below she reads just fine.
All of my other voices work above 320 words per minute. I am using an iPod
Touch 5th Gen. I don't know if it is resources or if Sharon just likes to
 read slower.
Thanks. I sent a message to the developer but thought of checking here to
see if anyone else has had this problem.

Re: Voice DreamReader and Sharon Reading 340 words

2015-06-07 Thread Bill Gmail
Brett,
Actually this helps. I know my IPod is on the edge as far as working with the
latest apps etc. I am trying to get as much out of it as possible. I am glad to
know Sharon is working as I may try to get an iPhone in the future.
Thanks

Re: Google play books

2015-04-26 Thread Bill Gmail
this works for me here. If I do a 2 finger swipe down the book reads with
VoiceOver. I have also used Play Books on Android.

You have to make sure the book is not in scan page mode. In other words, it
needs to be in flowing text mode. If I have the book mode I get a message and
tell me scan page switch to flowing text to hear this. Do you get anything like
that when you open up the book question

I hope you have better luck on the android operating system.

I believe there is an app for the iPhone that lets you play Google play

fooled with it, because I am not that happy with android in general. And,
last I tried, you had to flip pages one by one to read books. I am wondering
if the Google play books on the eye devices are any better. I recently ran
across a book I would like to have, and it is a good deal cheaper on the
Google play store then it is on either Kindle or iBooks. It is scanned text,
so it should be readable with Google play books. If it won't work on the
iPhone, I will probably trying on my Nexus seven on android and hope for the
 best.
