RE: lost volume on IPad

2019-07-04 Thread Brian K. Lingatrd
Dear Chris, Vicki & List:

There appear to be the following iPhone settings which Siri can raise, lower
make maximum or minimum:
•Phone
•Media
•Siri
•Voiceover

Saying Siri make media volume maximum will turn it up all the way. Same for any
of the other volume settings.
Hope this helps. Just fixed a nagging internet email problem.

Asking SIRI doesn't work. She says its full volume, which SIRI is, but Voice
Over isn't.

Also, you can ask your Siri to set the sound volume on your iPad to fifty
percent

I have very little volume on my mini IPad. SIRI is loud, but the system sounds
and voice over are so low I can barely hear them, in fact, I cannot hear voice
over at all. I think what happened is that the volume got turned down to 10%
and it just got lost. SIRI says Voice over is turned on, but just no volume. I
tried doing a three finger double tap to turn speech on or off, but no volume
there either.

I have tried holding down the home key and raising the volume, but that did
nothing. I also tried to get VO speaking while doing a two finger swipe down to
keep it speaking, but nothing worked there either.

How can I get VO working again and up to normal volume?

Thanks.

Vicki

Dear Chris, Vicki & List:
It should be noted Siri can adjust all volume up, down. Min or max.
Just say Siri set all volume maximum for example.
