Ray,

That seems like the best choice to me. I have had my Amazon Blue Tooth Basic
Keyboard since Christmas and have no complaints. Good luck sir.

closing the loop on this, After looking at the specs for the other keyboards
mentioned and recommended in this thread I decided to stay with the amazon
basics Apparently the price for this keyboard is now 29.95 but I got it for
25.0 and thanks to the good folks at Amazon, it should be here Friday.

I caught my Amazon Basics Bluetooth wireless keyboard on special for $19.99 and
free shipping. I bought a really nice cloth case for it for 20 bucks. The
outside is a soft can us and the inside is even softer material. The case has
room for a couple of triple (A) batteries which seem to last quite a long time.
The keyboard with its soft case fits nicely in a back pack for taking it with
you.

RE: amazon Bluetooth basic keyboard:

2016-01-19 Thread Charles E. Black
I am trying to use the commands as listed with the standard blue tooth keyboard
and they aren't working. For example, command +h is supposed to be like
pressing the home key on the phone. I have not found this to work considering I
am pressing the right key. I am pressing the bottom left key for the command,
or vo, key and the h but it is not performing the click action. My command
button isn't working with any of the keys. Is there something I have done
wrong? Is there something I need to do?

Subject: Picker items in Safari

Hi Mario,

I unfortunately didn’t keep your message so I can’t reply to it, but I had kept
that link to that gaming website where you pointed out a picker box at the
bottom which you said wasn’t accessible with Safari. So, the quick answer is
that yes, if you double tap on it it doesn’t pop up with the choices where you
can flick up and down to select one. However, you can access the options if you
double tap and hold on it, then do another double tap. I think it said “General
Discussion, 3 of 9” or something like that. When I flicked up it did go to the
next item, but I couldn’t go to the next one after that as it immediately
loaded the site fresh and I had to go back to the picker, do another double tap
and hold followed by a double tap and then I could once again flick. It seems a
split tap also works which makes no sense since a split tap and a double tap is
supposed to be the same, but in this case the double tap did nothing whereas
the split tap did. If you have “Form Controls” in your rotor, you can turn the
rotor to that and easily locate the picker that way, then do your double tap
and hold followed by a double tap. It may not be ideal and I don’t know if it
works for all such picker controls, but it maybe a work-around for the time
being.

Regards,

Sieghard

2015-12-22 Thread Charles E. Black
Steve:

Are you saying that your wife can get hotspot on her phone and you can access
it through another device. During this same period, she cannot access the
hotspot. Question, if she has access to the internet and is broadcasting it
out, shouldn’t she have access to the same connection without needing the
hotspot?

Subject: Mobile Hot Spot

Hi

My wife has a mobile hot spot that you can connect laptops and iPhones to for
internet access. Her iPhone will not connect to the hot spot. I can connect
to the hot spot with my iPhone though. Any suggestions on how to resolve this
problem?

Howdy,

I was wondering about Netflicks on the iPhone with VoiceOver. I've heard a lot
of good things regarding Netflicks from mainly sighted friends. Before I sign
up with them, I was wondering what people on this list thought of it and if
there might be any pointers or tips or whatever regarding it.
Thanks for any replies.

Jim

Subject: Not able to write a review

Running IOS9 on a 6 plus and I am trying to write a review on the TWC Phone 2
Go app. I can rate it and I can title it but when I try to get to the field
where I can write the review it kicks me back to the previous screen. This
happens with both the BT and software keyboards. What might I be doing or not
doing?
