Re: Voice over and languages

2014-06-03 Thread Cornelius
I am sure british english can handle the mail I am trying to read, since it is
in english. However, maybe due to the language tag, it switches to some other
language voice. Any way to avoid auto language detection?

When the languages is set on default language, a different language tag causes
VO to switch to the different language. Place at least one additional language
in the rotor. Turn the rotor to language. Flick from default language to the
same language in the rotor. Now, everything will be spoken in the language
chosen, if said language can handle the material. If not, the material will be
skipped.

Hi Cornelius and Isaac, first about Cornelius welcome to the world of iPhones.
Into Isaac no you don't have to unlock the screen talking up a call, you can
double tap on it twice while the screen is locked and it will hang up that is
with using a 5S Curnalia's, I'm not for sure which phone you're using but I am
pretty sure with the five it'll work this way as well.

Did you try going in to settings.
Then go in to notification center.
Next select the app in question that is giving you the notifications.
Next turn off the show on lock screen option.
You might also want to set the notification style to no alerts to see if that
helps.
