Hardware: Talking Clock Radio with iPhone Dock
Hello list, I went through the archives and couldn't find any past messages on point. Does anyone know of a talking clock radio that is accessible and that also has an iPhone dock for an iPhone 6 or higher? I searched the web but can't find this combination. VO Turning Off after a Phone Call
Hello list, Sorry if this was already posted, but after downloading IOS 9.1, my phone and VO stop working immediately after hanging up from a phone call. iTunes and Loading Music and Books
Hello all, It seems everytime iTunes changes, I have to relearn how to load music into iTunes, and then on into my iPhone. I have several MP3s and some audio books that I would like to place on my iPhone. I imagine that the only way is through iTunes, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to load the music and audio books. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Deleting Books in Audible
Hello all, I noticed that someone commented on how to delete a book in the latest update to the Audible.com app (September 2014), but for the life of me, I can’t find the original answer detailing how it is done. There is a “delete” button between “recent” and “refresh,” and then there is a “delete” button to the right of the book title I wish to delete. I’ve tried multiple combinations of these buttons to delete the book from my device (not my library), and the result is that Audible begins playing the book. Any help would be appreciated. Hard resets and voice over
Hello all, When resetting my iPhone using the hard reset (pressing the top button and the home button at the same time for a few seconds), many times the voice over function will not come back on. I will then need sighted assistance to go through the settings menu to turn voice over back on. Is there any way to avoid this, or is this simply a bug in the operating system? Audible.com App
Hello all, Recently, Audible.com updated their iPhone app. The app includes a sleep timer that will allow for listening but will automatically turn off the book after the desired amount of time (e.g., 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, etc.). One would choose the desired amount of time with a one finger flick to a combo box. After the recent update, the sleep mode button is not located in the lower left of the play screen. When clicking on it to open, the time choices are now listed and one performs a a hold and tap to select the desired time. However, the device does not turn off the book in the desired time. I've tried several different ways to get it to recognize the sleep time, but it doesn't seem to work. Is anyone else having similar problems? If not, what am I doing incorrectly? Syncing with iTunes
Hello list, Lately, when I go to add music, etc. to my iPhone, I get a message that adding these songs (or whatever) to the iPhone will wipe out all existing songs, etc. I tried it with my music library, and it added the songs and got rid of the songs I didn't want, but it got rid of ring tones I created and audio books saved. When I went to add an MP3 of a book to the phone, I received the same message that it would wipe out my music, etc. if I proceeded. Is there something I need to de-select or a setting I need to fix in order to be able to just update one category (i.e., music, ring tones, audio books, etc.)?
