This is true. If you stop on a subscription, you can't go further to the right to see the next one.Really easy fix though.Slide 1 finger from top to bottom and it should work for you that way.Not the most ideal way to do things, but i'd rather have this than nothing at all.Sent from my iPhoneOn Mar 2, 2023, at 2:30 PM, mi...@eastlink.ca wrote:Hi no it is not gone as far as the subscription bug now when you swipe right vo reads the subscriptions but you can’t swipe left since vo will continu to read the subscription again and again and again so if you have 3 subscriptions vo will only read the first one in the list and nothing changes when you choose the picker and choose things like date I am using a I phone 8. When I checked it tonight it already worked for me before I upgraded to iOS 16.4 public beta 2 and it still is fine after the update.

I received a reply from Apple Accessibility this morning which states that they are aware of the issue and they are investigating.
I assume this may have had something to do with the App Store and certain App Store changes have always been done on the backend and they are not necessarily connected to iOS itself which would explain why this is happening with iOS 15, iOS 16.3 as well as
 iOS 16.4 public beta.
I would think this is something which Apple will fix sooner rather than later.
As for using screen recognition this still does not work for me even if I wait 10 seconds or 20 seconds, I have backed out of subscriptions after turning it on and gone back and it does not give me anything except what I also see without screen recognition.

Although it wouldn’t be ideal by any means, when I checked just now, I could turn on screen recognition while in the list of apps to which I was subscribed, and I could then actually view that list of applications. I could also double tap on one of the apps
to which I was subscribed, then turn off screen recognition, And then I could see the option to cancel that subscription if I wanted to do so.

Each key corresponds to a different device to which it is paired.

The ontario website says you can put your vaccination certificate in health on
iPhone running IOS 15 or later.
I can try with a family member's phone and let you know how hard it is to set
up.
Of course if you don't live in Ontario, you'll have to check with your province.

Maybe its a dumb idea, but have you tried backing up your phone and doing a
restore?
If it doesn't help, i'd take it to apple.
See what they say, specially if your device still has warranty.

lol what happens when it rains and you don't have good signal, or if your
batteries are low, or if you have to send your unit in for service or repair?
You get folks reliant on tech, and they're useless without it.
Cool idea, but it'll never ever replace the cane, or a dog which loves you and
plays with you.

You are correct.
Unfortunately I updated, and there is no way to go back on apple watch.
This is the reason I haven't tried the beta on apple watch.
I really thought about it though.

Re: VO voices on Apple Watch series 6

2020-11-17 Thread CrazyEyez
Hi,

My girlfriend and I both got new apple watches 2 weeks ago.
Both are 44 mm wifi only models.

Out of the box we were able to use the siri voice.
I had to reset mine because I was having connection problems.
I have lost the capability to use the siri voice.
The other watch is just fine.
I also don't care for samantha, so I went to Australia voice.
I've tried everything I could possibly think of to get the siri voice back and
nothing works.
Cellular has nothing to do with it.
I guess some are more lucky than others.

Honestly, I'm not going to walk around with my phone in my left hand and my
cane in the other.
How am I to carry stuff?
Only way this could maybe work is if they had this in glasses, or if there was
a chest rig for your phone.
Also, You're more likely to get beat up by an american rioter than you are to
contracting the virus by bumping into someone.
Unless you kiss the hell out of them as an apology, you're fine.
Continue on living your lives.
Don't worry about the virus or you will die of stress before the flu can get
you!

Re: What do you like about your apple watches?

2020-10-27 Thread CrazyEyez
I'm also getting an apple watch.
I'm leaning toward the 6 because of the somewhat faster processor, blood oxygen
tracking, and the ECG.
Most likely I won't be using those features extensively, but i'm keeping the
watch for 2 years at least, so why not start with the best I can get at the
time.

We should start a petition to remove the idiot who started this whole mess from

Moderator remove this garbage thread please.
It shows true stupidity.

Re: $300 Payment By ApplePay?

2019-12-10 Thread CrazyEyez
I do not use apple pay, so I do not know for sure.
However, In Canada we have tap. Pretty much you hold your card over the reader
instead of inserting it.
The limit for that is $100.
Anything more and you're out of luck.
Because apple pay works on a similar principle, i'd imagine that the $100 limit
would be in place.
I'm interested to find out if this is the case.

Man apple people who write code for this software need to lose their jobs.
Each and every one of them.
There's no excuse for all these bugs.
Lay off the drugs.I don't understand how they can release this garbage.
Get rid of the useless dead weight, and find people who actually know what they

I'm not sure either, but I'd like to believe that a better camera equals better
text recognition also.
I prefer the bigger phone for braille screen input.
Besides, i'm used to having the bigger size now, since i've had the bigger
screen from 7 plus.

Re: iPhone11, 11-Pro & 11ProMax From Blindness Perpective?

2019-09-14 Thread CrazyEyez
Hi,
According to apple, the iPhone 11 pro max will have 5 hours more battery life
than the XS Max.
Also, supposedly the pro models can stay submerged in deeper water.
The glass is supposed to be better,
and as you mentioned the pro model has a third camera lens.
It all depends what you want out of it.

Re: How can I get messages not to be muted?

2019-07-27 Thread CrazyEyez
Open the messages app, and go to the main screen where your conversations are.
Find the person in question, and swipe up.
There is a choice.
Either hide alerts, or show alerts.
This is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.
Hope it helps.

Re: Reparing a Screen

2019-07-13 Thread CrazyEyez
If you paid for the extra apple care, it shouldn't cost you more than $100.
I remember a few years back, we had a phone that had a cracked screen, and they
replaced the whole phone for a price.

Okay.
Since you all are in so tight with the folks at google, and you've figured out
the app, please enlighten the rest of us as to the work around you use.
Just because things work a bit different does not mean it is policy, or not
worth noting.

I'm glad you have no issues.
However, I do have the issue of the collapse video button not working on my 8

Since you know for a fact that there isn't an issue with youtube, then tell us
what's wrong with our phones.

yes, there is a headphone jack.
I looked at the phone's specs on the apple store.
It says nothing about making changes to the headphone jack, and when you look
at what comes in the box, it says earpods.
I'm excited for this phone, and plan to get it as soon as I can.

Apples answer to everything is restore, or do a hard reset.
They need to fix the issues that they broke in this latest version.

Stop giving us workarounds, and give us a fix for the damn problem!

Re: Safari in 7.1

2014-03-13 Thread CrazyEyez
I noticed it as well, I was tripping out first, like where the hell did my
address bar go?
But I do like this new feature.

Re: after IOS update lost partial keyboard function

2014-03-11 Thread CrazyEyez
Hello,
Has anyone had these issues with the actual keyboard that is on the phone?
My girlfriend can't type on her keyboard, because it keeps switching between
letters and numbers and slides through a bunch of symbols.
The only workaround that we have, is using Siri every time that she wants to
input text.
If anyone has had this problem, or knows how to work around it, I would greatly
appreciate it.
Thanks.
