settings from my iPad. Any ideas?

Re: Air Pods Max Coming Tomorrow

2021-03-31 Thread G Eden
the cost of an iPhone is the total of parts and labour, and I suggest is
a minuscule percentage of the price you and I pay. The cumulative
dollars between manufacture, delivery, and storefront comprise the total
of company expenses, and the remainder enriches the shareholders, who
take home obscene profits.

so, what's wrong with this picture. You could still have your iPhone,
presumably at the same price point, if the manufacturing was done
domestically by well-paid fellow citizens and the shareholders would
still, I'm certain, smile all the way to the bank. Apple is not the
enemy, the Corporation only does what it shareholders tell it to do.

Capitalism is about seizing opportunity, and clearly, the opportunity is
our obsession with Apple products which is carefully nurtured every day.

This schema really needs a rethink on behalf of North American working
people, or our future may be altered forever.

Hey andy,

Welcome to the real world,

Manufacturing of these types of things is done in countrys such as
China due to the lower costs of living and salarys paid to the workers.

This is why countries like the UsA don’t build cars anymore as it has
gotten to cheap to build them in other countries,

Mind you I’d rather have something from Motor city and makes the noise
of a real car as well as is structurally tough when you run in to someone,

Rather than one of the tin foil cars you get from say japan that you
probably can’t hear.

And also apple products,

I think they use Chinese children

Who have very little fingers

So they can get in to the very tight spaces in those iPhones etc to
put the very little screws in.

i just received an Email update from UPS telling me that they will
arrive tomorrow.  When I examined the tracking details, I saw that
they were shipped from China.  That's the one thing that bothers me
about Apple, mainly manufacturing their products in China rather than
here in the U. S.

Subject: The Otter box Case and iPhone 8 question

Hi all,

I’m going to upgrade to an iPhone 8 and I wondered if anyone knows if there is
still a problem with using an Otterbox Case with Voiceover? I think I remember
hearing that there was a small gap between the screen protector and the phone
so when you performed voiceover gestures they didn’t always work. Is this still
true?

Also, I believe the iPhone 8 is the first iPhone to not have a dedicated
headphone jac. If this is so, does an adapter come in the box or do you need to
purchase one and what kind do people recommend?

Thank you!

Debbie

report of missing Sim card

2018-10-27 Thread G Eden
Hello, I have a six month old iPhone eight, living in an otter box, and
yesterday it reported no Sim card. When I try to use the phone as a phone,
it's reporting no signal.

My Apple dealer is 20 miles from me, and it may take some doing to get
there.

How can I check this myself? Can one of these tiny cards come loose or go
bad?

Any advice would be helpful.

Gratefully

Geoff

So, how does one remove an app?

Yes. BlindSquare is available in Canada. I use it all the time. There are even
certain areas where indoor beacons are being installed which will give guidance
inside places to users of BlindSquare.
