Hi Garry and all. My breathing stopt 74 times when I did the sleep study. I use
the F&P Sleep style. And I am wondering what is the sa surgery? From Mich.

Gary Ray here.

I was diagnosed with severe sa. My breathing stopped about 60 times per hour
when I had the sleep study.

I did ask the doctored about sleeping without the machine.

They preferred that I take the machine with me whenever I traveled but it is a
pain.

When I pressed the doctor, I was told that I should use my best judgement but I
should try to use it all the time.

I had such a tussle getting used to the mask that my sleep study folks have
referred me for the Inspire sa surgery.

I agree with Richard. Even if I had a guess I wouldn’t answer. For the record
I have no idea.

That is a question for your doctor. Since we do not know anything about the
severity of your sleep apnea, it would be unwise to advise you.

HI Jen,

What model of ResMed do you have? I got a ResMed S11 back in April and the
coach who came to my house never told me about an app. He probably didn’t think
a blind person could use it. I think the humidity is set too high because it
gets wet inside to where it will drip into my nose but I don’t know how to turn
it down other than to call them out here again. So, if you have the same model
that I do then I will look into this further! More info than you wanted I’m
sure.

Thank you!
