I have taken a look around my new IOS 6 setup and was wondering if the Apple
podcatcher was to be part of the new IOS or do I have to go and get it
myself? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I use it with Windows. I just use my regular phone line to send faxes so
don't have incoming faxes but every outgoing fax has been successfully sent
when I checked by a phone call.

Hi Sieghard, I was able to take a pic of my window AC this morning and got
an answer back to my question of what temp was it set at. It took about 45
seconds and got back 2 answers with 75 as the answer. All is fine I guess
but still don't know why I didn't get back any answer the other day. Thanks

I am not aware of any settings that affect whether it works in general. Just
make sure you check "Web Workers, on the last screen just before you send
the image/question. maybe you have it unchecked and hence no web worker gets
your image. You can also enable VizWiz in Notifications and that way if an
answer takes longer to come in you will get a Notification. One last thing
you can do is also email yourself (last screen as well) and that way you can
see if the image/questions actually go out.

screen of my in-floor heat thermostat. First time around I got "No clear
image" after about a minute and then I tried again and this time after about
30 or 40 seconds I received the answer "27 C" which I happened to know is
correct. Maybe something didn't work and it timed out, did you try sending
your picture/question just once or twice?

Walkmeter app, how to operate

Hi, I have the walkmeter app installed and set up and have been using it but
can't figure out one thing. How to reset the app for another walk on another
day. I mean, The last time I used it, I double tapped on start to start the
app and when finished the walk, I double tapped stop but what I had happen
then that isn't happeining now is I don't see the done button or the reset
button. The other day when finished the walk and stop was pressed, above it
was a done button and when that was hit, a reset button showed up. This
isn't happening now. Can someone that has used the app successfully please
give me some direction on operation of this app.

Does anyone know if these apps work on a rowing machine? That's the only
real exercise I get apart from walking to work and back and I would love to
use it for that. It wouldn't have to mind being stationary and only using
the accelerometer to gauge performance.

I used walkmeter last night outdoors walking with my girlfriend and it works
great. I have it set up to announce the time elapsed, distance traveled and
speed of our walk every ten minutes and when I got home, I was able to check
on the calories burned. I love this app for outdoor use. The developers have
done a good job with this, it is clean, easy to use and understand. I will
check out runkeeper for indoor stuff today.

real exercise I get apart from walking to work and back and I would love to

I have iTreadmill but can't figure it out. All the numbers that come up
after a walk don't make any sence to me and I can't figure out if there is
an eaiser way to inturput the data when done.

Once you indicate that you would like to upgrade, you're prompted for your
Apple ID password, and once that's entered, it should unlock the features. I
did have to do it a second time when I updated the app to version 1.02, but
was not charged a second time. However, I still had to enter my Apple ID and
it then told me that I had already made this purchase, and to tap continue
to continue. THe original comment that I had posted didn't go through, so I
had to resubmit it, but all seemed well until this afternoon after that.

Voicebook VO update to paid version procedure.

Hi, I was just on Voicebook VO and when I double tapped on a friends status
and flicked right till I got to post comment, and double tapped on that, a
page came up that asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the paid version of
voicebook. I double tapped on the yes button and then was taken back into
the feed. Was there something else that was supposed to be done there? I
sort of expected to be take to a page where I coule enter my apple login
info or something to verify the purchase or something but there was nothing.
The same thing happened when I went right to the bottom and double tapped on
upgrade voicebook from within the same menu that comes up when double
tapping on a newsfeed. I tried it a couple of times, I hope I didn't get
charged a couple of times because I still can't post comments or likes.

I guess it is up to you but, if it is free, isn't it worth grabbing just in
case your other app doesn't work one day? They may do the same thing in the
end but the interface may be different and easier to use. I don't know, I
don't have Tune in Radio Pro to compare the 2.

I just downloaded the Canadian Sirius app this morning and don't seem to
have this problem at all. I double tap on a category like country and then
go down the list and see all the channels there and can click on whatever
one I want. I usually listen to "The Highway" and so, that is what I double
tapped on and it started to play. It is easy to change channels too, You can
use the player functions but, I just double tapped on another channel and it
closed the previous one and started to play the new one.

Actually, I have the Canadian app and a subscription and it is very
inaccessible. vo does not say a channel name until you click to listen to
it. It also does not say the options in the settings tab.

I would assume that the app needs to be open to download podcasts. Also, You
have the feature of downloading off of 3G as well as Y Fi so don't know what
will happen if you go out of range of Y Fi half way through a download. Get
the app and give it a try and let us know.
