Re: VoiceOver threatened by Samsung

2013-02-23 Thread Philip S
Just curious, is it possible that Samsung is thinking about capturing
some of the blind/visually impaired consumer smartphone market from
Apple, albeit in a very nasty and unwise way?
Does anyone know if Samsung is working on some major smartphone
accessibility project?

Connect to WiFi on iPhone

2012-12-03 Thread Philip S
Hi group,

I am trying to connect to WiFi on my iPhone. I use VoiceOver. However,
after turning on WiFi and when I try to tap / double tap on a network
shown on the list of nearby hotspots, nothing happens. There's no text
field prompting me for my network password (I have a secured network).
The only page I get is the Info page with details about IP address.
Please help! How do you get on WiFi on your iPhone with VoiceOver?

Thanks a lot.

Phil

Typing by handwriting on iPhone screen

2012-07-14 Thread Philip S
Hi group,

I was wondering if anyone knows of apps for iPhone that let users type
by using fingers to handwrite English letter by letter on the screen,
and how accessible these apps are.
Thanks!
Phil
