Re: degrees new items

I think that the app is only available in the apple canada app store. The app
only displays canadian cities so it isn't for people outside of canada.

Re: ITunes Questions

2013-03-07 Thread Rocket
I just hate how apple doesn't allow for the rolling back of an update if one
discovers that the new update is not working for them. This is one of my
reasons for holding off on itunes 11. Having used itunes 10.6 on a xp machine
i can honestly say that the itunes 10 running on a 64 bit windows 7 computer is
super fast and i don't think that the new itunes will be any faster and
besides, how much easier then having itunes launching in about 10 seconds and
it opening up right in the list view. It sounds like itunes 11 has a lot more
keystrokes to do before one can get to doing work.

I am glad i haven't upgraded my itunes yet on my windows 7 machine. Everything
is so easy to find in itunes 10.6 that i will hold off on my upgrade. The
latest and greatest thing is not always as great as advertised.

Re: Summary of Seeing Eye app presentation at CSUN

2013-03-01 Thread Rocket
Since the app needs the online maps to function, the website can block the app
from accessing data when your subscription expires. The sirius app is an
example of an app that won't work without a paid subscription.
