fine tuning Slacker
Hi Christine, The only way I can get it to work is to double tap and hold, then move your finger from right to left or left to right after you have activated the fine tuning option. Also, I have found that if using an iPhone 5, the next artist that is scheduled to play doesn't show up in the now playing window, but it does on the iPhone 4S. I too confirm that the latest build did not fix the VoiceOver issues. Is there a way to delete labeled elements?
I have not given up on the new Slacker 4.0 and have been labeling the buttons. Unfortunately, now Slacker crashes when opened, and the only way to use it again is to delete it and install it again. It works for a while and then on next launch crashes immediately. I assume this is because of the buttons being labeled. Is there any way to unlabel these buttons? possible fix for iPhone 5 streaming problem
I continued to experience problems streaming audio on ooTunes, Wunder Radio, TuneIn, and iHeart, even after I thought I had found a fix. Even though I usually stream on WiFi, not LTE, I turned off LTE completely on my phone, reconnected to my WiFi network, and so far, for the past few days, I have had solid streaming. If anyone else is still having streaming problems with the 5, could you try this and see if it works for you too? problems streaming on iPhone 5 resolved
This fix is totally by accident, but I am streaming with no drop outs. I read somewhere that someone tried an app called StreamItAll, which by the way is not a very powerful app at all. But, as soon as I did install it, all my other apps streaming problem went away. In fact, I deleted StreamItAll completely, and still, no drop outs. My guess is that when you bring over your streaming apps from an iPhone 4 or 4S, the 5 needs to see an install of a new radio app, I'm guessing any radio app, to teach it or show it or fix it so it streams correctly. Incidentally, earlier I had deleted Wunder Radio and reinstalled it, which did nothing. Hi Grant. I just finished reading all the threads about the streaming issue on an iPhone 5. I have tried everything you have, and I still can't stream for more than 30 seconds. I've had three phones, and I've tried them on different networks, both with and without passwords. Sirius and Slacker work, but ooTunes, iHeart, TuneIn, and Wunder Radio all do the same thing.
