Typically, people are using these with standing desks which are higher than traditional desks. Yes, if you click the button to have the AirTag make a sound from within the Find My app, it will beep longer than if you ask Siri to find it. However, it will not beep continuously; only a few times. In the Find My app, if you click on the button to get directions, And you have a newer iPhone, your phone will give you verbal directions and vibrotactile feedback if you are fairly close to the AirTag. Re: charging device - does this exist?
Rather than options with built-in cables that might fail, I highly recommend checking out a product from RollingSquare called inchargeX (short cables) and InCharge Max (longer cables). These are great because they have built-in connections for USB-C, lightning, and micro USB. The other end has both USB and USB-C. The design is very nice. I have various lengths from keychain size all the way up to 10 feet. The longer ones come with a handy silicone case.Tai Tomasi, J.D., M.P.A.Email: tai.toma...@gmail.comSent from my iPhone. And I’m hoping they eventually correct this. I did call both Apple and Sonos and speak to them in this regard.First, the app is not currently a supported service of the Sonos system. While Apple music is easily accessed all over my residence, the Apple Classical music App needs a workaround to be channeled through the whole house Sonos system.Second, while the app is available for the iPhone and iPad free to anyone who subscribes to Apple Music, Apple has no plans to put this app in the Mac App Store.I have an M1 MacBook Pro so had expected to just load it as I do several iPad apps and use Airfoil as a workaround. That is a Rogue Amoeba app and works very well with Sonos. However, so far I have not been able to enjoy the Apple Classical App through the whole house system. Re: Swimming with an Apple watch
I swim with my watch. Yes, you will want to activate the pool swim workout. You have to choose the yardage of your pool, and once you do that, there will be a screen that describes what happens to the touchscreen and that it is disabled. Don’t do like I did and start swimming before you click OK on the screen, because the work out will not begin and the touchscreen will not be locked. Water lock is automatically turned on when you start this workout type. I’m running a new model, so I’m not sure about how to take the water lock off. It used to be that you would turn the crown to turn the water lock off after the work out. However, I think now you just hold down the crown and water lock will be turned off once you finish the work out. Tai Tomasi, J.D., M.P.A.Email: tai.toma...@gmail.comSent from my iPhone. For example, our local wine shop that I really like dealing with has an owner who strongly dislikes chardonnay wines with lots of oak and vanilla. My wife and I love those wines, which are harder and harder to find. In any case, I suggest checking out the Cellar Tracker app and reading the very lengthy description in the app store:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cellartracker/id893759800 Later, Richard, USA.“Reality is the leading cause of stress for those who are in touch with it.” -- Jane Wagner from The Search for Intelligent Life in the Universe My web site: https://www.turner42.com From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of sandrastreeter...@gmail.comSent: Tuesday, November 15, 2022 7:34 AMTo: viphone@googlegroups.comSubject: RE: Accessible wine tracking app Quoting from a friend who is well-versed in wines: There is a website called: "Cellar Tracker" that people use to record their cellar contents and then post reviews on recently tasted bottles. Re: Smart Battery for iPhone 14 Pro?
Yes, I have the MagSafe battery from Apple, as well as the one from Anker. The anchor battery seems to charge it much quicker, but it charging cable is USB-C. The Apple battery uses a lightning cable. Both are great for extra power during the day. That said, I haven’t needed it as much with my 14 Pro because of the larger battery capacity. I mainly used the Apple battery with my old 13 mini. Tai Tomasi, J.D., M.P.A. Email: tai.toma...@gmail.com Sent from my iPhone.
