Hi,

Here is the shortcut. Add it to your phone and get the api key and paste it

How to Use Siri as an AI-Powered Chatbot with OpenAI's ChatGPT

Are you dissatisfied with the limitations of Siri when it comes to answering
your questions? Good news: There’s a new solution available. Developer Yue Yang
has developed a shortcut that enables you to convert Apple's voice assistant
into an intelligent AI assistant that leverages the capabilities of OpenAI

. To use this feature, all you need is a device that supports Siri and an
active OpenAI account.

A recent discovery by BGR shows that users can now use a shortcut to integrate
Apple's Siri with OpenAI's ChatGPT. Instead of replacing Siri with ChatGPT, the
shortcut allows Siri to transfer users' queries to ChatGPT and provide them
with answers from the AI chatbot. Developer Yue Yang notes that since the
shortcut links ChatGPT and Siri, it can be used on various devices equipped
with Siri, such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs. To use this shortcut, you will
need to have an OpenAI account, which you can create by visiting the official
website. Once you have an account, you can access your API key by visiting a
specific page or through your profile and clicking on the option to create a
new secret key.

API keys serve as a crucial tool for developers to connect various services for
a particular user. In the case of using ChatGPT

with Siri, these keys act as the identifiers required to grant Siri the
authority to operate ChatGPT. If you have made it this far, it is apparent that
this process is not as straightforward as downloading an app from the App
Store. Nonetheless, it is not overly complicated either.

After obtaining your API key, the next step is to download the latest version
of the shortcut created by Yue Yang from their GitHub page using the Apple
device you wish to use with ChatGPT. As of this writing, version 1.2 is the
most recent. Once you open the shortcut on your device, it will prompt you for
your API key information. After you enter it, you will need to select a
specific phrase to activate your ChatGPT-enhanced Siri instead of the regular
Siri. It's important to note that this shortcut only works with English
language inputs. While this process may seem a bit complicated, it's not much
more involved than downloading an app from the App Store.

Once you have set up your ChatGPT
 -powered Siri, you
can use it to communicate with the AI chatbot and even customize specific
commands. Yue Yang has made it possible to access all of ChatGPT's features and
personalize your new assistant by setting its personality. On GitHub, the
developer suggests that you can configure your Siri to be a joker, a writer, a
chef, or any other persona you choose. The possibilities for customization are
limitless.

The shortcut created by Yue Yang is an exciting way to breathe new life into
Siri and enhance its capabilities by leveraging the power of ChatGPT. By
following the steps outlined in this article, you can easily set up ChatGPT as
a virtual assistant to help with a range of tasks and answer any questions you
might have. While the setup process may seem daunting at first, it is a
straightforward process that can be completed with a few simple steps. With
ChatGPT, Siri has the potential to become a smarter and more versatile voice
assistant, and users can enjoy a whole new level of interaction

I don’t think it works with automation yet. It just summons chat gpt right now.
It’s like typing on the chat GPT’s website, but with siri requests. Pull up
siri, say the shortcut (in my case super siri,) ask whatever you want. I’ll do
a recording later today.

So how does this affect regular Siri requests for home automation devices,
replying to a text message and so on? If you have it set up, could you post a
recording as to what you can do with it?

First, if it looks the same, it didn’t update.

The shortcut to get to the updates page is to do a one finger triple tap on the
App store icon.

This brings up a menu of choices. Updates is one of them.

Once on that screen, the available updates will be near the bottom of the
screen, but they may not show up automagically, so do a three finger swipe down
to refresh the screen.

I checked for app updates and was shocked to find BARD 2.0 is already in the
app store.

I think the new system works great.

The search is at the top and searching for an author seems to get just that
author and not any combination of the first and last name, etc.

Here is what the update says:

Version 2.0 includes a number of new features, including in-app search
capabilities: -Search inputs are more intuitive. Author search supports First
Name, Last Name format; Last Name, First Name; and Last Name only. Quotation
marks are no longer required. For example, input “Mary Clark” (without
quotations) to find all the Mary Higgins Clark titles. -Keyword search supports
searching all indexed metadata and can help users looking for multiple
criteria. For example, to find a Terri Pratchett book narrated by Nick DePinto,
a user can simply input “dePinto Terri“ (without quotations). -After a user
inputs a search, they can amend the search type, the inputted term itself, or
the format (audio or braille), and sort results alphabetically by author,
title, or latest publication date. -In-app search now includes NLS Music
collection holdings, allowing users to access the variety of musical
appreciation and biography books, scores, and music instructional titles.
-Users can switch between audio and braille searches. For example, input “learn
guitar” (without quotation marks) with the search defaults to find audio
instructional titles, then select the braille format and the search button
again to find braille titles. Version 2.0 also includes enhancements to
searching and sorting Bookshelf and Get Books listings. Bug fixes include:
-Rewind controls skipping further than intended -Sideloading books
-Downloading and reading non-ASCII foreign language book titles

That is simply speculation at this point, it is probably more likely they would
come up with under-screen Touch Id which means that you put your finger on a
certain area of the screen and that the scanner is embedded under the screen
and it will read your finger print that way.

I read somewhere that on a future iPhone, they were going to put a fingerprint
option in the Power Button. I probably would like that, although that is not a

I think that is ultimately what I’m going to do. Sure, I could wait and see
what the new galaxy S 22 ultra will look like sometime next spring, but sadly I
need a phone and I need one that works now. I have two kids presently in school
and more often than not I’m having issues with the current device I am using
just to get by until I can get a new phone. I’m missing more calls than not
these days, and that just cannot happen. Not for business and certainly not for
my kids schools. The more research I’m doing presently as I write this and the
more information I am gathering just from people on this list, I’m really
feeling that the iPhone 13 promax is going to be my best bet. I will probably
wind up having to wait though because the capacity that I want of the device,
either 512 GB or 1 TB, are both back ordered.

Subject: Apple IPhone 13 Pro Max VS. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
Importance: High

Hello,

I’ve been both an IPhone and Android user respectively over the past ten years
– first IPhone from November of 2011 to June of 2013, then again for a brief
period from June of 2014 through January of 2015; and Android first from June
of 2013 through June of 2014, then January of 2015 through to present day.
Most people who have known me during the last few years and even earlier back
into the late 2000’s with the late Windows Mobile devices will recall I usually
am one of the ones who does her research and helps others out with their
issues. Now though, it’s me who could use a little help.

I’m doing some research and don’t want to miss anything like I did six years
ago. I want to research the differences between the most high-end IPhone 13
Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy equivalent, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
Both are 5G capable devices, both come in the storage capacities I’m interested
in. Specifically I’m looking at the following:

1. Battery life: In looking at the two devices, I have found several
differing writeups on the internet claiming either of the devices is better
than the other, but not giving any real specifics from the viewpoint of a user
who uses accessibility features such as VoiceOver on IOS and TalkBack on
Android. I want to know which of these devices’ batteries is more long-lasting
with the use of the accessibility features running. If anyone has information
about the battery usage without the accessibility features running as well, so
much the better. I can make an even better-informed decision at the end of the
day.

2. RAM/Processor speed: I’m looking specifically at RAM/processor speed
and how fast each device measures up in a truly fair comparison. Which of
these devices will ultimately be able to be used and not lag too much both with
and/or without the accessibility features running? I’ve also read differing
opinions on this and with each of these devices being named the truly better
device. I’d like to see how much of what I’ve discovered thus far is fact as
opposed to fiction as opposed to simple preference and opinion but not based on
facts of device performance.

3. Storage: While internal capacity on both devices is equivalent in so
far as I can get, I believe, the capacity internally I want on each of these
two devices, I don’t believe there’s too much to compare here since it is my
understanding that the slot for the MicroSD Card on the Samsung Galaxy S21
Ultra and going forward is being or has finally truly been done away with. I
did do some research and so far have found some differing opinions on this of
whether the forthcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra will or will not ultimately have the
SD Card slot. Either way, it doesn’t make too much a difference to me, as if I
can get either of these devices in 512 GB or even better the 1TB internal
capacity, then I won’t have much need for memory expansion. I already have
cloud storage with both Apple and Google, and can access my google cloud
storage from Apple if the need should arise and I run out of my ICloud storage
(highly unlikely).

Six years ago I got what I was told clearly by someone looking to make a sale
that the IPhone 5S was the equivalent to the Samsumg Galaxy S5 device in every
way, shape, and form. This was proven to be false, as I would later find
within three weeks of owning the IPhone 5S, the speed of the device/reaction
time was less than half that of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Keep in mind, this was
six years ago, and things in both camps have changed significantly since then.

I’m with T-Mobile now by default, as Sprint was bought out by them, and
eventually everything that hasn’t as of yet will be switched completely over to
T-Mobile. Ultimately, I’m looking to upgrade my phone for a couple reasons.

First, I’m buying my current Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G device outright and
will be giving it, temporarily, to my husband who needs a 5G device and has
zero trade-in value for his current device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Ultra.
This happened because we weren’t

All,

I just got one of these and the app won’t allow me to log into it. When I type
my email/password I get a server error. I’ve tried it with both an android and
my iPhone. It’s super annoying and I’d love to use my instant pot completely

last email went through.

Thanks!

Anthony,

It seems you have gotten the punctuation option set to “all.”

There are at least two ways to correct this:

1) Check to see if the rotor has the punctuation setting included. If so, you
will likely see it has been set to “all” in which case simply flick up or down
until it identifies the level of punctuation you prefer.

2) You can likewise open “Settings,” locate the Accessibility option, select
the VoiceOver button (this will not turn VO off, but rather open an additional
dialog where you will find the “Speech” button wherein (I believe) the
punctuation level can likewise be adjusted to your liking.

That TMobile ads is for MLB TV, so you get access to all the TV broadcasts as
well as the radio. Regular price I think for that is around $120 per year.

But, you can get MLB audio, for just the radio broadcast and the occasional
“Game Of The Day” that includes the TV for $20 per year.

RE: Instacart question

2020-11-12 Thread corykad
If you don't see the option from within the Instacart store when you open it, I
don't think it's possible. I just did it the other day with a Wegman's shoppers
club card, and it was very easy. When you open the store's page, you should see
something like save money by entering xx card where xx is the name of whatever
card you're adding.

Hi, I have a question regarding Instacart. I have both a Hy-Vee you where I
live and to Sam’s Club. I see where I can add what I believe is my Sam’s Club
membership card. Is this process accessible? Also, does anyone know if there’s
a way to somehow add my Hy-Vee fuel saver card so that if I purchase items that
give me money off gasoline I can get the credit and get the money off the next
time my family and I fill up the car?
Thanks,

Under Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Typing, Typing feedback, set it to
either characters, or characters and words and you should hear what you delete.
If you have it on nonthing or words, you will not hear each character deleted.

Yes, this also means you hear the character as you write, and sometimes that is
misleading because if you use contracted braille, the immediate feedback may be
the single character and not the contracted meaning, but it is easy to get used
to it.

Hi all,

Using a braille display, if you attempt to erase characters, they aren’t read
out as you do so. When using a braille display, this isn’t a big problem
because you can physically see what you’re erasing. If using an Orbit Writer,
this presents a huge annoyance because you don’t know what’s been erased. I’ve
reported this to apple since august.

Anyone have a work around for this? If not, I encourage you all to report this
so it gets fixed. It makes using the Orbit Writer almost impossible.

RE: Does anyone use the Apple battery case?

Hi,

If I remember correctly, it does come with a protector.

There is no switch on the device You just charge it, and it depletes it’s
battery before the phone’s battery takes over.

aHi Kimberly,

I’ve used the Apple Smart Battery Case for years and I swear by it. Yes, it
does add considerable heft to the phone, and, because I often carry my phone in
my pants pocket along with keys, a nail clipper and assorted change from time
to time, the satiny rubber covering can get kinda thrashed, but the case works
like a champ. If I drop the phone it will usually land on its back because of
the way the battery’s situated, so the case offers some good protection. Even
the beveled edge of the case which is about 1/16 inch above the phone’s front
face will keep the front glass from taking a direct hit. When you use the case,
the battery in the case is discharged first, then the phone’s battery is
engaged.

My first battery case was a Mophie Juice Pack which worked well but was
considerably bulkier than the Apple case. I liked the Apple’s form factor
better so I switched.

Hope this helps.

Tom

Hi everyone,

I love the Apple battery cases, but I have had problems with the case for the
iPhone 7. This is the case the Apple store sold me to be used with the iPhone
8, as they are the same size. My first case lasted nine months and then started
to charge very sporadically. The cable would charge the phone by itself, but
not the case whether the phone was in it or not. So I went through the
replacement process as this was still under warranty. I got a replacement, same
model of case. My replacement lasted 3 months and then started to have the same
charging problems as the first case. I made arrangements to send it back and
get a new one as it was still under warranty. But then I charged the case for
about 16 hours and it worked, so I canceled the return. then it stopped
charging, just like the first case. Again, the cable worked with the phone by
itself, so the problem was not the charging cable. I then gave up as I was
pretty sure I had passed the warranty time.

So, speaking for the iPhone 7 Apple battery case, I love it but I don’t trust
its reliability. I hope the cases for other models do not have this problem.
Right now, I am using a cheap battery case and it is currently working.

Hope this is useful.
