I was wrong. It did ask for my wifi ID. I put it in. I got the message that 
it’s wrong. Now, I guess I’ll have to contact Apple or Spectrum.

sure it will work once I get my pw straightened out. It’s been one of those

Have you tried resetting network settings? To do this, go to settings, general, 
reset, swipe down to network settings & tap. The device will restart. You will 
then need to re-enter your wifi password by going to settings, wifi.

For a couple of weeks now, I ask Siri to call or text someone, or just to read 
a message, and it says “On it,” or “Wait a minute.” Sometimes it says, 
“Something is wrong. Please try again.” Generally, the task is performed, but 
it takes so long. Any suggestions?

On a PC it's not really a program you use although Speedtest.net has a Windows 
10 app in the Microsoft Store which I found not as accessible and easy to use 
than either going to www.speedtest.net   or to use 
the Chromium browser extension you can install in either Google Chrome or 
Microsoft Edge.

I have the extension so I just press Alt + D to go to the address bar, then tab 
until I get to Extensions, press enter and tab again to Speedtest

Well, you could twist the roter until you get to word and then flick down until 
you hear the number. If you then do a three finger quadruple tap then you will 
just get the number VoiceOver read copied into the clipboard.

 

If that doesn’t work, then you can twist the roter until you get to text 
selection, flick up or down to select how much text you want to select at a 
time and then flick left and right to highlight the text you want to copy. This 
may be easier if you use line or character to get to the text you want to 
select first. After you have the text you want then twist the roter until you 
get to edit and then flick up or down to copy and double tap to copy the text 
you just selected into the clipboard.

 

Once you’ve done this, go to the app where you want to paste the text, twist 
the roter until you get to edit, flick down to paste and double tap.

 

I know these instructions are kind of terse, so if you need more help, just ask.

That got a whole 
block of text, what I wanted was simply to copy the dudes phone number which 
someone who had used his services before posted in response to my question. I 
had to do a whole lot of editing to get my phone to just leave me with the 
number, is there a way to simply highlight and copy certain text?

A three finger quadruple tap on the phone number that’s in the comment well 
copy the comment I’ve done it before and it works successfully and then you can 
actually paste that into the phone number slot after obviously creating or 
while creating a new contact in your contacts list.
