Hi all,

 

I am using Tracfone on an iPhone SE 2020 with international calling.

 

I need to dial a 12 digit number pretty quick.  I have tried around 25 times.  
I am not quick enough.  The system times out on me every time.

 

Is there a way around this?

I was suspicious too, and won’t ever click on links in these kinds of emails.

 

I did a web search for Kim Commando emergency patch Aple

And found the article, which is just about iOS 15.4.1 and some of what the 
security patch is supposed to be for.

 

So, no April Fools joke, just too vague a reference.

They will be releasing a pro version soon, I have been testing it for them in 
beta, works nice you can add kindle books to your phone even music and movies 
to VLC, even have it so you can add music directly to show up in Apple Music.  
They actually gave me 4 licenses to give away on my podcast, but since I will 
be launching a radio station soon, I will give them away on there.

Oddly enough Waltr 2 claims to be able to transfer media without I Tunes.

In my older version,. I had to have I Tunes installed because Waltr 2 needed 
components from I Tunes to work.

There’s a way to transfer media to your device wirelessly.

I haven’t figured out that one yet..

I called the number, and instead of asking you to leave a voice mail, they ask 
only for your name and email address; clearly not 24/7 phone support by any 
standard definition.

 

Apparently there is a WALTR Pro in the pipeline since WALTR2 has not been 
updated for 4 years.

 

It is available for pre-order on their site, but I read a review dated in 
November 2020 that gave it very high marks and they did not indicate it wasn’t 
a release version, so I’m confused.

 

I sent an email contact form yesterday and got the message that I should watch 
my inbox because they respond quickly.  

24 hours later, no email and nothing in the junk folder from them.

 

So, I’m wondering if anyone has experience with their support recently, asay

Trying to enable text messages to be read out as they come in on I Phone 11 using 15.1

Hello everyone, I rarely post to list because mostly all I need to know, is
usually covered.

As stated in subject, I never changed anything & my incoming text messages,
they were set to be read aloud as they arrived.

When my phone updated to 15.1, now I get a incoming notification & whatever
text tone I assign to people in my phone book. All  help appreciated

In the passcode settings, there should be some thing that says passcode 
options. activate that and I think you may still find the four digit option

Yes, Face ID is easy to set up with VoiceOver running. You get prompts the 
whole way. During the setup process, you'll be prompted to set it up. If it's 
already set up, you can go into Settings and do it. Make sure your room is well 
lit, and then follow the prompts. Face ID works fine in the dark once it's set 
up, but my experience with the iPhone X is that having a good amount of light 
while you're setting it up helps. Once you have it set up, you only need to 
enter your passcode occasionally, mostly after a restart. The rest of the time, 
it uses Face ID. There is no Touch ID on the 11.

I’d agree with Simon.. I updated to the latest IOS 14, Things are without a 
doubt off.

I restarted my I Phone 11 and noticed some improvement.

As time passes, I’m noticing improvements every day.

Like our desktop and laptop computers, restarting them sometimes fixes things 
as the system boots back up.

I don't much care for this method of powering down my phone.
Hold down the side button and the volume down button at the same time. The S O 
S will show. Swipe to left of the S O S pop up and it will say slide to shut 
down. Just tap on that and phone will power down.
I usually cause my phone to turn on by just plugging in the power cord.

Try hitting the spacebar after iTunes opens on that ringtone.
If that doesn't work, hit shift+10 if you are using Windows, and select play or 
arrow down to the Open With dialog and pick another program.
Often on Windows 10, Groove, Music is a default music player that you can pick.
