Re: About blocking contacts

2019-12-04 Thread Cris Ali
Thanks a million Kathy. You solved a big problem for me. I have some people in
a buying and selling list blocked because I have no interest in their products
what so ever. It bothered me I was still getting their emails.

Cris

No need to make assumptions about why someone would want to block a person. For
example, I was interested in blocking those on a sell and trade list who’s
items I know I never want to buy, and who I see duplicate messages from: in a
few months I’m going away, and don’t want to spend the time dealing with their
messages :-)

Re: About blocking contacts

2019-12-04 Thread Richard Turner
I blocked someone, and have never seen an email from them since.
But, if someone replies to their message, I see that new person's message and
if they included the blocked person's message it will say blocked contact, so I
read the new message from the non-blocked person and delete the message.
I know this is working for me because I never saw the message the other person
was replying to.
So for me, there is a very good point in doing this.

What’s the point of blocking people if their emails still appear in the inbox
unread list? The only difference I noticed that voice over would announce from
a blocked member. It would make sense if the email messages of blocked members
get autamatically moved to the deleted folder.
