Re: AirPods Pro. Any pointers on removing the silicon insert to try a different size?

2019-11-10 Thread 'Harry Bell' via VIPhone
I could not find any marker on my new AirPods pro to indicate where to press.
And I worried about pulling on the silicon because the original medium tips
were very firmly attached. I chickened out and asked my sighted wife to change
the tips and she struggled just as much as I had and eventually just used brute
force by pulling on the silicon! Not a good design feature...

RE: AirPods Pro. Any pointers on removing the silicon insert to try a different size?

2019-11-09 Thread Peter Logan
No, they are not interchangeable between cases as the design is different. The
Pro buds are shaped a little different and the stems are shorter .. more
compact in total. The tips pull off...

I have not invested in these Pro devices, since I just got the Airpods 2 about
three months ago. Do you know if the Pro models will fit into the case for the
version 2 Airpods? Are these new ones shaped differently than the previous
model?

Re: AirPods Pro. Any pointers on removing the silicon insert to try a different size?

2019-11-09 Thread Michael Doise
Good afternoon,

I have had the AirPods Pro for aabout two weeks. You can remove the tips by
just pulling on the silicon ear inserts, or by finding the small depression in
the plastic near the ear tip and use your fingertip to remove the ear tip.

As for the case, The AirPods Pro have a new case design. Therefore, the Pros
will not fit in the AirPods 2 case.

I hope this helps, and have a great day.
