Karen,
It looks doubtful from a quick bit of web browsing.
You can airplay from your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac so whatever you are 
browsing on the other Apple device is shown on the TV.

It appears that no web browser is available on the Apple TV, at least not the 
newest one.
If you find Safari on the menu on an older model of Apple TV, then you will be 
able to do that, but I doubt that will be the case.
