RE: At last a VoiceOver voice which distinguishes between N and M!
Harry, I should have realized you had phonetic feedback turned on before posting. I completely understand how much more efficient it is to have a voice that distinguishes the characters more clearly so you don’t have to wait for the phonetic feedback. And I rather like Karen’s Australian accent but I’m from the deep South of the USA so my opinions on accents are probably suspect. Re: At last a VoiceOver voice which distinguishes between N and M!
Hi Richard, I understand a long delay before providing phonetic feedback could dissuade one from using it. Personally, Samantha enhanced has very little delay and I'd never type on an on screen keyboard with phonetic feedback turned off. There are just too many letters that sound alike. But as I said, to each his own. Re: At last a VoiceOver voice which distinguishes between N and M!
I've always enjoyed Karen Enhanced. All the other enhanced voices are great as well. When my iPhone had more space, I always used the enhanced voices. They just sound so much clearer. I am currently using Tom Enhanced.
