Re: Bard jail
I've never heard of a place in the bard service agreement that you aren't meant to create a library of your own. If that were true, I'd get in major trouble as I've got over 17000 bard books downloaded to an external hard drive. I also don't think you can increase your monthly bard limit past the limit of 100 books when using the bard mobile app. This is not the case with bookshare. I have increased my limit for that service. I'll email NLS on Monday and find out for sure and let you all know what I find out. On 2/28/20, Evan Reese wrote: > I don't delete the books I read. Re: Bard jail
I don't delete the books I read. Storage is small and cheap. I don't use the Wish List. When I see a book that sounds interesting, I download it for future reading. Again, storage takes up very little physical space. I don't see why anyone should care whether or not I delete the books I've read, or whether I download books I want to read as soon as I hear about them rather than putting them on the Wish List. The books are still on BARd. They don't vanish when I download them. I use to download a lot more books for future reading dan I do now, at this moment, my bard wish list has over 3400 books on it, then there are the wish lists for Bookshare, all the books downloaded to Voice Dream. You'll be able to read most of your bard books. It all depends on how many books you download at one time. I've only reached my one hundred limit only once. I've got over 400 bard books on my iPhone 8, and I can play pretty much all of them. Just be aware of how many books you download in a day and you'll be fine. Re: Bard jail
You guys are incorrect. There is a difference between using bard on your computer and using the bard mobile app. Jenneffer what has happened, is you have downloaded to many books in one month. There is a 100 book limit per month if using the bard mobile app. Deleting a book won't help. You'll just have to read some of the books you already have. Also, I have noticed that books from the Washington state library don't play very well on the bard mobile app. It doesn't matter if I redownload them or close the bard app. Good luck. There is no limit when using bard on your computer or if using the victor stream. Just write BARD at the Email I gave you and ask what the limit is and what you need to do. I'm sure you are not the first.
