I don't use FaceBook, so these are just guesses. Did you try double tapping and hold on the image? Or, save it to your library, then share it from there. Kelby, I don't think so. There used to be severall apps out there that were alternatives, like Facely HD, Status Report, and others. However, somewhere in the last year or so I read that Facebook locked down their experience so people have to use the main FB app. We just have to adjust like the rest of the folks out there. It can be frustrating, but I'm mostly able to do what I want such as liking posts, commenting, sharing, and posting updates myself. If you wanted something simpler, you could try going to the mobile site at: www.m.facebook.com That is designed for mobile browsers and accessible posting. For what it's worth, I've tried using the main website and I gave up a long time ago. The app works well compared to that foolishness. However, just wait, there will be someone on list who says that they have no trouble using FB on the computer. Go figure. What's the best Facebook App?
Hello. At this present time, I set up a new Facebook account and deactivated my account for later use. What I'd like to know is the following. What is the best Facebook App to use on IOS the official App or another app from the App Store? I no there is no simple answer but I'd like to hear what others say about what is best to use with the I phone. However Facebook annoys me because I got too many invites and too many E-mail notifications so I deactivated my account as Facebook is one of my hated websites. Kawal, The Facebook app works fairly well. If you received too many emails and invites then this will probably happen again with a new account, but you can control what event triggers an email. You might want to consider using the mobile Facebook site which is much easier to navigate. It is m.facebook.com. My experience with Focus is similar to Raul's. For a few days I could not post a message but the edit capability is back. I like the Focus choice of eliminating a bunch of junk when all I want is to read people's comments. The only Focus drawback I see is that I can't find a way to post in our family's private group. Maybe there's a way and I just haven't found it. I had a similar experience with Focus as Raul; for a few days I could not post. But it's back and I like it much better than VoiceBook. With Facebook I logged in one time and now when I click on the app, I'm there. With Voicebook everytime I click on the app I get the notice to new users and need to log in all over again. I don't know why this happens. The only drawback I see to Focus is that I have not been able to access the private group the Finley Family has. I can't read the group message or respond. Does anyone else know how one can do this with Focus? I have actually gone back to the regular Facebook app. It is now accessible and does everything.
