I actually like this new method. I strongly dislike having to flick up or down to set the time by very small increments. I also use Siri a lot to set appointments, and that bypasses the need to deal with any of that. I have had no issues with using Siri for appointments when I use a pattern like: “set an appointment for December 15, at 9 AM titled doctor Jones.” Or, “set a 90 minute appointment for 9 Am on December 15th, titled Go shopping.” Richard "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy has this to say on the subject of flying. I have not tried using BSI with the Calendar app for entering time since the number pad is right there and you do not need the colon between hours and minutes. For me, I've just been using my google calendar, setting it as the default calendar, and only using the native calendar app on my iPad to view and not create calendar events. You could use fantastical. You don’t have to buy the subscription for it though to use it as a basic calendar. Calendar App Alternative?
Hi, Everyone. I could use the native Calendar app all right with 14.01 but now have trouble using it in this IOS's incarnation. I can put in the start time but not the end time; when I doubletap on the Edit field then go in to BSI to input the time, the app crashes. Is there another accessible Calendar app I can use?
