Can I turn up from the lock screen?

2015-02-05 Thread Agent086b
Hello all,
the subject is my question. My wife often turns down the sound on her iPad
whilst she is playing a game while I am listening to the news. Problem is I
can’t unlock the iPad without getting her to unlock it and turn up the volume.
I can start VO but I don’t have any volume to enter the unlock code. Seri can’t
increase the volume.
Any way around this?
Thanks for any advice.
Max.

You can press the home button and do a 2 finger flick up that would normally
read the screen. Immediately press the volume up button and this should make Vo
audible.
As a suggestion, maybe your wife could try turning the mute switch on and this
might silence the game sounds. Then it would be easy for you to turn sounds back
on

Best,
Ioana
