My late husband helped with my original setup, he did not do it all, but he did
help, although reluctantly.

I just have not had the impetus to redo it, probably will not even try again.
Just seems like too time consuming fraught with too many errors to bother with.

hi Rose,

I totally agree with you, iTunes is a horrible interface! I use it as little as
possible! I wish I could help you to do your folders, because I don't mind
doing them too much, but it's very difficult to tell someone else exactly how
to do it. It's one of those things! Anyway, perhaps you'll decide to do one or
two at a time and get them done that way. I just have to organise my pages from
time to time and keep tidy!

Hi,

When moving app a on to app b and you hear the info about this keep slowly
moving your finger around the area of that app and you will hear the "creating
folder" announcement. I agree it's a bit finiky without good reason but works
for me consistently. Have not tried yet with the bt keyboard.

I know how you feel, Rose. I want to be able to create folders on the computer
as well.

And I agree with you about iTunes. It's gone way down hill the last two
versions or so. I don't like not having the sidebar, but I can get used to it.
But when you break my list of apps that I use to tell iTunes what to put on my
iPhone and what to take off it, I'm not happy.

Hello,

Even though I don’t have a 6S, have either one of you tried using a BT
keyboard? Once the app is selected, press the keystroke VO-Shift-M and
move it where you want. Perform the same keystroke to drop the app
onto the place you want to move it to. I have been reading on how BT
keyboards are not working just right, but toggling the screen curtain
off/on may get the BT keyboard to do its magic. HTH.

Hi Everyone,

What might I be doing wrong? Any help with this would be most

Hi,

When moving app a on to app b and you hear the info about this keep slowly
moving your finger around the area of that app and you will hear the "creating
folder" announcement. I agree it's a bit finiky without good reason but works
for me consistently. Have not tried yet with the bt keyboard.

2015-09-28 Thread Eileen Misrahi
Hello,

Even though I don’t have a 6S, have either one of you tried using a BT
keyboard? Once the app is selected, press the keystroke VO-Shift-M and move it
where you want. Perform the same keystroke to drop the app onto the place you
want to move it to. I have been reading on how BT keyboards are not working
just right, but toggling the screen curtain off/on may get the BT keyboard to
do its magic. HTH.

Creating Folders In iOS 9

2015-09-28 Thread Destene Noller
Hi Everyone,

I decided to reorganize some apps on my iPhone 6 today. I began by deleting
some apps that I just don't ever use. My intention was to create some new
folders for some apps that I don't use quite as often as some others, but that
I still wanted to keep. I haven't done this in quite a while, so I'm thinking
the procedure may have changed, but what I tried was: double-tapping and
holding on one app, and then moving it on top of another app in order to create
a new folder which contained both apps. It didn't seem to work. I didn't get
any indication that a folder was created, and was provided with no edit field
in which to write a new folder name. What might I be doing wrong? Any help
with this would be most appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
