Hi, i know both voicedream and read2go reads daisy book. But they are not free. I don't think there is any free daisy reader app available. There are some other reader app that will do daisy, or some specific daisy reader app, but they are not free, and they are not as user friendly as well. Hello, VoiceStream reader is a paid application but it is worth it. It has a easy interface it is easy to work with. Check out on the App Store. You will like it. Voice Dream Reader is $10 as of this writing, but it is well worth it. It does audio or text daisy files, mp3 audio books, pdf, epub, text, and more. You can sort books into folders, download from a bunch of sources (Bookshare, Pocket, Instapaper, Dropbox, more), and you can buy more voices for $2 to $3. It comes with one, but there are voices available which are much better. VDR does hav a free trial version, which has all the features of the full one except that it only reads a few seconds of audio at a time instead of reading continuously. Both are good apps, but have different features. I personally prefer Read 2 Go. I do not know which app handles the audio daisy books better, I have no experience with them. Each app is $19.99. The Read2Go app is made for Book Share and can download newspapers and books directly from the app. In Daisy can also download Book Share books, but not the newspapers. This is now moot as the N F B Newsline Mobile<http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nfb-newsline-mobile/id530470425?mt=8>app is free and handles the periodicals much better, IMHO. For other content use the file sharing area of iTunes to transfer files. Hi. I'm sorry for my late reply, but I haven't been able to check my mail the whole weekend. The following things makes InDaisy better for me: 1: The app is translated into more languages, including danish. 2: The app supports ftp transfering. Resd2Go does require iTunes to transfer daisy books. 3: I think the controls in InDaisy just works much better. You can bring up a navigation window with 4 arrows pointing up, down, left and right, where the up and down arrows select the level you wanna navigate in, and the left and right arrows jumps backwards or forward in the chosen level. At the bottom of the screen, you have a play/pause button at the middle, and a rewind and forward arrows on each side of the play/pause button. Tabbing these buttons will just jump a few seconds in the book. When this navigation window is closed, you have your book shelf, and when you're in a book, you'll get a list of chapters where you can dubble tab the chapter you wanna go to. The same goes for Read2Go. I'll say InDaisy is the way to go if you only need a nice and flexible daisy player. Read2Go is the way to go if you also wanna read text books or other kinds of supported books which isn't just daisy books. I hope my descriptions makes sense. Hi. Yes. Transfering books to this app doesn't work verry well for me. I haven't looked into this issue for a while, but I haven't seen any updates to this app. I think InDaisy supports more daisy formats though, but daisy worm might work for some people. Hi Søren. Do you also have some problems with most of the danish books from nota with indaisy. I am not using much daisy myself, I prefer to read with my fingers. But Jørgen reads much daisy, and he told there are problems with a lot of daisy books from nota, I tried a couple of them, and I also had problems.
