RE: Family Sharing with Voice Dream Subscription

2024-04-05 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Don't think there is anything you need to do, however, not all apps with
subscription pricing support family sharing. It is my understanding you
subscribe directly with Voice Dream and not via the App Store? If so I assume
you may have to use the credentials you used to purchase the subscription to
log in on both devices. If you did buy the subscription via in-app purchase
through the App Store, here is what Apple says about Family Sharing (first the
text, then also the link as the article includes link which describe how to
enable various family sharing features):

About Family Sharing for In-App Purchases

Family Sharing makes it easy for you and up to five family members to share
purchases of some of your favorite apps. In addition, some apps now let you
share subscriptions and other in-app purchases. Before you can share a
subscription, you must enable Family Sharing. For step-by-step instructions on
enabling Family Sharing, follow this link.

How to share a subscription

Go to your Apple ID in Settings and tap Subscriptions. You’ll see a list of all
your active subscriptions; tap on the one you would like to share to see all of
the subscription options.

If the subscription is shareable, you will see a Share with Family option.
Select the option to enable the subscription for sharing with your family.

How to share other in-app purchases

On the Family Sharing page, select the Purchase Sharing option, which will
allow you to share eligible in-app purchases. Be sure that Share Purchases with
Family is enabled under Purchase Sharing. If you have any in-app purchases that
you do not wish to share, you can disable sharing by hiding the app in My
Purchases. Note: Not all in-app purchases are shareable.

Purchases<https://apps.apple.com/us/story/id1542695115>

Re: Family Sharing with Voice Dream Subscription

2024-04-01 Thread Ivan Icin
Unfortunately the App Store is deceiving regarding this.

It will display the logo if any of in-app purchases or subscriptions
supports this.

So it is entirely possible that what you reported is correct - there are
other in-app purchases from the old version of the app that have Family
sharing set to on, which is enough to enable displaying of the logo in the
App Store.
