Re: Fast Balance - Was Re: New HSBC APP

2012-12-14 Thread Kirsten Edmondson
I think I found it by searching for HSBC in the App Store. It might be UK only
of course though. I think it only came up with the name fast balance once you
had downloaded, you know, one of those apps that changes its name annoyingly.
It doesn't do much really, tells you how much you have, and gives you a few
transactions I think, the last five. Apparently you can top up your phone with
it, but I don't need to do that stuff never tried. The other annoying thing
about it is, I have an HSBC credit card and I can't see how much I have on
that. You can't do any transactions in anything or make any payments, but you
can see what has come in and out of your bank very recently. To make it really
worth while though, you have to check regularly, every two days maybe depending
on the amount of action in your bank of course.

May be this App is only available in the UK APP store. Try and put in HSBc to
see what happens.

Fast Balance - Was Re: New HSBC APP

2012-12-11 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hello Kirsten, do you have a link to the Fast Balance app you mentioned?
I tried looking in the app store by typing it as one word and as two
words, but nothing comes up. Perhaps this app is called something
differently now, or is no longer available?

Thanks.

Dear Listers.

I am cross posting to both of the lists just in case any of you are using the
following app on your I phone or I pad.

This app for the time being is being trialed in the US.

I will give you the background of the following app as I was told today by an
HSBC representitive.

Those of you in the UK know that at present there has been a campaign for
Talking Cash machines which are available in some branches of other banks and
as far as I know is available in the USA.

So, however, I happened to be talking to a representitive of HSBC Bank where I
bank. He told me that at the moment, rather than concentrating on making these
cash machines accessible for it's disabled visually impaired customers, they
are trialing anew app designed for the I phone and I pad and it's being trialed
in the US due to their customer base being low.

So am wondering if any one is trialing this app especially for Voice Over in
the US? I am asking this because their last application called Fast Balance
was not accessible with Voice Over and I hope their new application will not
suffer the same fate.

I would appreciate any information from anyone to tell me that this app is
being trialed and proving successful.

Thank you in advance.

Kawal.
