Actually, I figured it out. Under settings there is a Favorites button which
allows you to select your favorite channels. Then on the home screen after
launching the app, there is a button called Filter by, where you can choose
which channels you want displayed when the app opens. One of the choices is
Favorite Channels only.

Select the My Library tab and once in there; there is a heading for Favorite
Channels; then just double tap on the channel that you want and there you go!
