Thanks Sieghard, I see it now consistently, but I swear there were
situations where no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find the
subject of a message I was viewing.

Hi Christopher,

Voiceover doesn't say Subject, but when I open a mail message it does read
the subject and it also does that if I double tap Next to go to the next message. Usually
after I tap next the subject is 2 swipes to the right, sometimes a few more.

This brings me to another question. I've always felt that with all of
the different email client and screen reader options out there, you
shouldn't rely on someone to always check the subject line. For example,
if I'm using the stock Mail app on the iPhone, and I hit the previous or
next buttons, I don't hear the subject line of the next message read to
me automatically like I do when I delete a message. If I go flicking
left or right or exploring on the screen, I can't seem to find the
subject line. Therefore, my question is this, what am I doing wrong and
why can't I find the subject line when I'm looking at a message in the
iPhone Mail app?
