Hang up calls

2014-05-22 Thread Cornelius
Hi all, I am having problem hang up calls with the 2 fingers double tab while
screen locked. Is this a problem with iPhone or are there any settings I need
to do to be able to hang up calls without unlocking the screen?
Sorry if this sound silly, but I am just a new user.

Hi,

You can't use the two-finger double-tap when the screen is locked. If you're
using headphones, you can use the middle button to hang up. Otherwise, you'll
need to unlock the screen and then do the two-finger double-tap.

Best,
Anna

Re: Hang up calls

2014-05-22 Thread Christopher J Chaltain
My experience agrees with Anna. I'm running the latest IOS 7 on a 4S. If
I hold the phone up to my head, I can pull it away from my head and use
the two finger double tap to hang up. I don't believe the screen is
locked in this case.

If I'm using headphones then the screen locks and the two finger double
tap doesn't work for me until I unlock the screen. As Anna says, I
usually just use the controls on my headset in this case.

I am using the 5S as well. usually I can’t do that and I have to wait for the
other party to hang up or unlock the screen first to terminate the call.

Hi Cornelius and Isaac, first about Cornelius welcome to the world of iPhones.
Into Isaac no you don't have to unlock the screen talking up a call, you can
double tap on it twice while the screen is locked and it will hang up that is
with using a 5S Curnalia's, I'm not for sure which phone you're using but I am
pretty sure with the five it'll work this way as well.

RE: Hang up calls

Yes, there is, push the power button twice quickly while you are still
holding the phone up to your ear.

Alternatively, use the included ear pods or a Bluetooth headset and use the
remote buttons on your headset.
