Warning: Don't update Hive Heating App

Hi

This is for anyone using the British Gas Hive heating control with their IOS 
app. The latest update has broken accessibility. It is no longer possible to 
alter the temperature setting using VO.

They say they are aware of the problem and will fix it, but when that will be 
is anyone’s guess. If anyone else has a Hive, could they please let the support 
team know that the app is  broken? It might speed them up a  bit.

Hive heating

Hi Neil

According to British Gas, the app is broken with VO and they were working on it 
with a target of fixing it by January.

When I was talking through the app with their customer support, it was clear 
that there were a number of things which just weren’t working with VO, for 
example, selecting days of the week.. There are buttons attached to these which 
are invisible to VO.

You may have heard they are about to release Hive 2, which will have 
connectivity with devices other than the heating, such as lights and so forth.

Explain, I use HIVE on iOS, its not quite perfect, but, they are about to 
release a update that resolves outstanding issues.

on the Android app with British Gas.

Call RNIB and ask if this is indeed the case. If so, they're not doing 
their job.

I know I have seen some traffic in the group on this, but I recently had one of 
these installed and really I can’t make head nor tail of the app. All I can
