In my opinion, it is better than any talking scale I have had.  The talking 
scales have felt cheap and have had one leg that seemed to indent when you 
step on.  I think that is how the weight was registered.  The Aria is much 
more heavy duty and has no loose legs at all.  I find it to be very 
accurate.


If you test any scale by standing on it several times over the course of 5 
minutes, it would be rare to find one that didn't vary at all.  It is 
important to stand in the exact same place on the scale every time you step 
on.
