RE: How to set a specific app notifications to deliver quietly?

2020-01-15 Thread Alan Lemly
Thanks, Maria.

It seems odd that this setting can't be reached through Settings, Notifications
but if it's there, I couldn't find it.

Hi. When you get the notification, go to the notification center and swipe down
until you hear manage. double tap on that and one of the options in that little
menu is deliver quietly.

Hi List,

I seem to get notifications when I'm in the middle of doing something with my
iPhone 8 which is very annoying. I really don't want to turn notifications off
but I'd like to be able to turn on the deliver quietly setting for the major
app culprits like Facebook and Twitter. I'm taking a class on Voiceover and the
instructor mentioned something about this deliver quietly setting that can be
found under the context menu for a notification from a specific app. I would
have thought you could access such a setting under Settings, Notifications, and
then the particular app such as Facebook or Twitter but I'm having no success
finding this deliver quietly setting. I'm hoping someone on this list who is
much more familiar with notification settings can help. I'm running iOS 13.3.

Thanks in advance.
