Re: Instant pot smart Wi-Fi six
hi Cara, Thank you so much for writing. The cancel button which is the button to the left of the pressure cooker button, and the pressure cooker bottom I’m sorry button is the very bottom button on the right. Anyway to cancel button cancel is the program that you are currently running. The button to turn your Wi-Fi on and off is also the pressure cooker level button, which is on the first row of four buttons. It is the second button from the left to change the level of your pressure cooker you just press that button. If you want to turn your Wi-Fi on or off you press and hold the button. No this is still related to the instant pot so I hope it will be hijacking the thread. How have you noticed your app working? I am referring to the instant pot up with voiceover. Mine does not work very well, and I don’t think anyone else’s does. I have been in touch with the company and they said that they are working on the app. The tech-support people that I have talk to are very nice, and today I got a complete rundown of all of the functions of the instant pot. It’s a recording that didn’t turn out too well, but it is understandable. If anyone has any questions, I would be glad to answer them the best that I can. God bless, Wren Langley PS I should’ve mentioned what I said about the recording I didn’t have the volume quite loud enough so the volume isn’t as loud as it could be, and you know iPhones are, sometimes they break up or they sound a bit blurry it does sound that way on the recording, but I could answer anyone’s questions if they have any. Re: Instant pot smart Wi-Fi six
Hi Wren, The wifi button is also the pressure level button. You know how the Instant Pot has the four columns of buttons, with columns 1 and 4 having 6 buttons and columns 2 and 3 both having 3… So you can think of the middle two columns of buttons as a Braille cell. The Pressure level / wifi button is dot 1 or the top left button of that middle group. Does that make sense? I believe one of the buttons in that group also acts as an on / off as well. I believe it is the Cancel button (dot 6 or the bottom right button of the middle group) but you can’t hold me to that one. :) So the pot does need to be on to be seen by the app. I had a similar issue and I just cannot remember which button was the on /off. Go figure! Have only had the IP for like three weeks now and love it bunches! :) Hope this helps at least somewhat. :) Best of luck to you! Cheers! Re: Instant pot smart Wi-Fi six
Wren, Your IP has 6 rows of buttons. The first 3 have buttons on the left and right most columns with the middle two columns being empty. Rows 4, 5 and 6 each have 4 buttons. If you go to row 4, (the first row from the top with 4 buttons) the WIFI button is the second from the left. This is a double function button. While in some menus it means Pressure Level. When connecting your IP to WIFI, press and hold for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep but I forget if that beep occurs while still holding the button or when you let go. I am slowly learning to use my IP and will be glad to help if I can. RE: instant pot smart wi-fi
I don't know about the wifi model, but you can have more than one device connected to the instant pot bluetooth. You just can't access it from two different devices at one time. The smart cooker app is set up on my iPhone XR as well as my wife's iPad. In fact, forgot to disconnect the instant pot from my old SE and when I connected to the pressure cooker on my new phone, I got a message from within the app that I had too many pairings (three devices). To press and hold the pressure button to reset all pairings. I dismissed the message and so far at least, no issues. I'll get around to doing that. Just haven't yet.
