Iphone On Airline

2019-10-04 Thread 'cwc' via VIPhone
My wife and I are going to be flying to Orlando in a couple of weeks. We
will be taking our Iphones with us
I plan to read during the flight)Audible(.

Can I use my Aftershocks blues on the plane, or would I be better using
standard headphones? Are there other things that I should be aware of?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Iphone On Airline

2019-10-04 Thread James English
Hi,

I don't know of any sort of rules that ban aftershocks on aircraft,
that would be odd but airlines do so love weird rules. However, I'd
use standard headphones purely for noise-cancelling purposes.

Re: Iphone On Airline

2019-10-04 Thread Kelly Pierce
I have used my Beats Solo3 headphones on planes with no problem.
While they are not noise canceling, they cover the entire ear,
blocking out the noise from the engines. Be sure to use airplane
mode. While some airlines claim to offer Wi-Fi, I have found the
speeds really slow and don’t count on using it. Instead, I load all
different kinds of music on the phone for times when I am not
interested in reading.

RE: Iphone On Airline

2019-10-04 Thread Alan Lemly
I'd suggest you use whichever headphones give you the best sound without much
bleed that could disturb others on the plane.

Make sure you know how to turn on airplane mode which is most easily accessed
by opening control center by placing focus on the status bar and doing a 3
finger swipe up.

I'd also recommend that you download the Audible books you plan to read to your
device before leaving home.

Enjoy your trip to Orlando.

On regional flights here in Canada when they only fly a Dash 8 which is a turbo
prop they do announce that it is not allowed to use Bluetooth devices, but I
have never heard of such a restriction on a large plane and honestly don’t know
why they still bother on these smaller planes.
