Kindle Footnotes Not Working
I read a lot of nonfiction on my Kindle. In some books, the linked footnotes will not work properly when Voiceover is on. I can have a sighted person click on the footnote to go to the citation, whereas double tapping with voiceover only opens the regular Kindle menu. This does not occur with all books but only some. i just tried double tapping on a footnote in a Kindle book and it took me to the footnote. This book has all the notes at the end of the book. Now, I realize that I should have put a bookmark on the page I was on because there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get back to the page with the footnote unless I missed something. Hi, Double-tapping just brought me to the menu most of the time. However sometimes it worked but it is hit and miss. Any help would be appreciated. TO go back to your previous location you go to menu and press the back button. Then, when you exit menu and return to book you should be where you left off before jumping to the note. Still would love to hear about a consistent way of going to footnotes.
