HI Shane and all. As others have mentioned here, torrents / torrent clients in and of themselves are not illegal and from your message I cannot tell if the torrents you're speaking of are illegal.
Just so you and others know, no illegal activity of any kind is welcome here nor will it be tolerated. So in short if you're downloading legal torrents that's cool.
