I bought one of those, for about £35 (US$50) or so from Apple directly for my 4, which also fitted my 4S, but, I paid for it. It definitely did not come with any of my iPhones. There's simply no room in the iPhone box for that thing. I know what you are referring to, but never came with any of the iPhones since the 3GS; at least not here in the U.S. The stand you are referring to must look like what is used in the APple store to display the iPhones and iPod touch. I recall you could purchase those separately, but not sure they are available any longer. Two possibilities here. The first of all is that you may be thinking of the Apple's included 30 pin to mini USB adaptor that was included in European iPhones to comply with EU regulations. Secondly if the cradle had a built in keyboard you may be thinking of the Apple iPad keyboard dock. I think the former is more likely.
