Re: Notification Center problem resolved...

2022-09-24 Thread Robin Frost

Hi Holly and all,

thanks so much for this tip while it is definitely not a fix and I do
hope people continue to report this as a bug or an annoying design
change to restore previous behavior I am grateful for the work-around
and am so glad you shared it with us all as it makes life in iOS 16 much
more tolerable and productive.

Thanks once again Holly it and you are appreciated.

Take good care,

Robin

Well, I found an answer to the notification bug of not being able to
open a notification with a double tap on the lock screen.
I remembered that with the latest update, when I got a reminder, the
‘more’ option which would show up with a one finger flick up was not
showing up in 16, but someone said to do a single finger triple tap to
see the options to mark as completed, etc..
Well, I thought I would try that with a text message, and when I did a
single finger triple tap on the notification, the messages app opened
and put me in the reply field.
I will try this again with the next text I get, but it has worked
twice now.

Yeah I've done that with Twitter for instance, but the way I've gotten to the submenu, is double-tapping, and holding the 2nd press. This does work, but for instance, in Whatsapp, it puts you in the Reply field too. At least for now... it's a partial workaround. Nevertheless I hope this bug gets fixed soon!GeraEnviado desde mi iPhone SE (2nd Generation) de TelcelEl 23 sep 2022, a la(s) 3:20 p.m., Holly escribió:
