Re: Number of signal bars showing since 11.3
I also see this change on my iPhone 8 using Verizon. From a post on AppleVis, Apple made the change to a max of 4 cellular bars with the introduction of ios 11. If this is the case, this means this whole time that our phones have been reading x of 5 bars, voice over has been reading it incorrectly, and now that it says x of 4 bars, this is the actual correct reading. Here is the link to AppleVis: https://www.applevis.com/forum/ios-ios-app-discussion/cellular-bar-indicator-where-correct-announcement Chris > On Apr 2, 2018, at 9:41 AM, Tom Lange wrote: > > I’ve noticed this change on my iphone 7 on AT&T running IOS 11.3. I’ve noticed this change on my iphone 7 on AT&T running IOS 11.3. This is a bug? Seriously? Up until 111.3, every iPhone I’ve ever seen over the last seven years has shown x out of 5 bars.
