OK, I guess I never noticed because my Apple Watch is usually connected and if
I really don't need bluetooth I turn it off completely.

No! It used to say bluetooth connected even if you didn't have a device

Hi all,
one thing I have noticed since installing the latest update is the
number of signal strength bars. before the update I could see 2 out
of
5 bars. Since the update I now see 2 out of 4 bars. So they have
reduced the number of bars.
Not important but just interesting.

2018-04-02 Thread Chris Chaffin

I also see this change on my iPhone 8 using Verizon. From a post on AppleVis,
Apple made the change to a max of 4 cellular bars with the introduction of ios
11. If this is the case, this means this whole time that our phones have been
reading x of 5 bars, voice over has been reading it incorrectly, and now that
it says x of 4 bars, this is the actual correct reading.
Here is the link to AppleVis:

I’ve noticed this change on my iphone 7 on AT&T running IOS 11.3. This is a
bug? Seriously? Up until 111.3, every iPhone I’ve ever seen over the last seven
years has shown x out of 5 bars. Obviously fixing this supposed bug wasn’t high
on Apple’s priority list. I’m curious; has the visual signal strength indicator
changed, or is this a matter of VoiceOver misreporting it all along? Hmmm.

Hi all,
one thing I have noticed since installing the latest update is the number
of
signal strength bars. before the update I could see 2 out of 5 bars. Since
the
update I now see 2 out of 4 bars. So they have reduced the number of
bars.

Not important but just interesting.
Max.
