Hi all So, we have an iphone 5s running ios 10.2, and we are wanting to organize photos into custome albums. My question basicly is: can one save photos shared via shocial media, like whatsapp, into custome made albums? We have received a lot of photos and videos over the festive season, so I create an album called "christmas" and another named "new year". So, to reproduce my steps, which would not work in the end I did the following: I double tapped on the "camera roll" where all the photos are stored by default; then I double tapped on the "select button" on the screen where all the thumbnail photos are displayed; next I double tapped on each video and photo that I wanted to move; then I double tapped on the "add to" button, bringing up the list of albums on my phone. Here is where the problem starts: I see the default albums, and the very last option is one called "my albums", and I took it that "christmas" and "new year" would be part of the "my albums" option. I can double tap on this "my album" option, but nothing happens after that. I can not see my custome albums, and thus the selected photos and videos can not be saved into those albums. Am I missing something here, or can one only save photos taken with the phone into the custome albums? We have receive most of the photos and videos via whatsapp, and can always save them, but I can not get them to move into my custome albums.
