Yes, I use the launchpad as a primary method of app launching. Type the app 
name and hit enter.

Uninstalled the Toolbox For Pages. That was a good thing. It drove me nuts. 
But, it didn't help me to find the Pages app using a spotlight search. 
Nothing is found when I search. Nor can I redownload Pages from the App Store. 
That button remains grayed-out. But, the app opens when/if I open a document 
created with Pages. I can also open a blank document from within Pages once 
I've opened the app using an already created document. But, I cannot open the 
app directly because I don't know where it is on my Mac. It isn't in the 
applications folder. Nor, apparently, is it on my system. I'm perplexed!

If you did a fresh install of Mavericks, Pages must be re-installed.
After that's done, you'll find it on the Launchpad.

You should be able to download pages again from app store under tab «bought». 
If not, delete the toolbox thing and try again.

Pages after upgrading to Mavericks

Recently upgraded to Mavericks. Did a clean install. All went well. No 
troubles...but one. Can't find where the Pages app is installed. It isn't in 
the Applications Folder. Where did it go? It exists on my Mac Pro. It opens my 
documents previously created with Pages. But, I can't find the app anywhere. I 
want to have it open a .rtf file...if that's possible. But, the pages app isn't 
showing up as I browse my folders. Any suggestions?
